This is the first time Midgets shutout an opponent this season. The victory snapped a 5 game losing streak for Midgets.
The loss continues a 5 game skid for Smokin Aces which now extends to 6 losses in a row. This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Smokin Aces, and the first time Smokin Aces failed to score against an opponent this season.
This was the first meeting between these two teams.
