On an illegal forward pass, what is the penalty?
What if the illegal forward pass resulted in an INT? Did that play ever happen?

The result in the NFL is 10 yards and loss of down. But who knows what the rules are in this league.

never happened

The play is illegal and the INT should never be called. This is not an option for the defense.Just like illegal motion. You can go through the play , but because of the foul , the play does not count.

That`s what I thought... but the ref called it a foul but awarded the defense the ball for the INT. They might have walked off 10 yards at the spot of the INT in the defenses favor as well. hahahahahhaa

the offended team always can refuse a live ball play. They can take the result of the play (the interception ) or take the penalty. The penalty is five yard`s and lost of down.

Is that for FFx flag or is that the official flag rule? In the NFL the play never happened right?
