Ok boys and girls; let me start by repeating what I said last week. Riles: GIVE SHAQ THE BALL!!! What is Miami thinking? I know he can`t hit the side of a barn from the stripe, but give the big fella some touches on the inside! Five shots, FIVE SHOTS!!! Am I missing something? Has Duncan secretly disguised himself as Diop? To top it off I have to keep seeing Cuban (does the guy own a suit?) and that awful hair do. I know I don`t have room to talk, as I have no hair of my own to cut, but if I did; I would not be seeing the same barber as the Donald! That brings me to Big Ben. No helmet, what’s wrong with you? You buy the fastest street bike allowed by law, but decline on a helmet? Did he not learn from "I`m a soldier" Winslow? By the way Wilbon, we have NO shot in the world cup...NONE! Ok, Ok Tony, get on with it.
As I said early on this spring, the final 4 would consist of the 4 dominants out there. With the exception of the Scrubs (who took the Lions out on a great 4th down conversion) I was on the money with those picks. This weeks games:
Scrubs vs NOVAs
I expected the NOVAs to be here. I expected the Scrubs to be at the beach by now. The Scubs have had a great run, but it is going to come to an end this week. Although the Scrubs have added some good talent, the NOVAs have too much experience and to much depth for them to handle. Look for the NOVAs to score early and control the rest of the game. NOVAs 21-7
Lazy Sundae vs Rhinos
This one is a rematch of the championship game from last spring. In that game, the championship was swiped from Lazy on a terrible call on the last play of regulation. Don`t look for this one to come down to the last play. Lazy has dominated all season and are playing at a level above everyone else. The Rhinos have showed they belong among the elite, but Lazy just has too much talent for them to overcome. Lazy Sundae 21-10
As always, if you’re going to be out on your bike tonight, do wear white.

I agree that Lazy has been dominate all year, and can not argue with you picking them over us, but have to disagree about the finals being "swiped" from them last year. If you are referring to the call/no call on the field goal attempt at the end of regulation, the IFFL has come out and stated that the holder can stand up and go back down after the ball is snapped. Although I do not remember seeing you at the game (assuming you are who I think you are) if you were there, you may remember we both had chances to win after that in OT.
With that said, the last thing I want to do is give Lazy "bulletin board" material, so let me reiterate that they played a great game in the finals last spring and we know it could have gone either way. Since that game, they have beat us twice (in the Bark Bowl and in the fall season) so they should be the favorite
So Tony, why bring this up a year later? I may be wrong, but I do not think Lazy thinks they had the titled swiped from them. If I am correct in my guess of who you are, it does not seem very Joe Pa like.
I do like your posts (even if it seems to kill you to say anything nice about us) so keep up the good work.

The game wasn`t swiped from us, they just got the bounces in the end. They play us tough all the time and I don`t expect anything less this sunday.
Good luck to all still playing, and may the best walk home with the hardware.
P.S.
GO CANES!!!!!!!

Kornhieser,
I enjoy reading your post and I agree with you that Lazy Sundae should be the favorite. Unlike my fellow Rhino, I like to see us as underdogs, it motivates me. Just remember that the road to the 2006 IFFL Spring Championship has to come through Rhinoville since we are the defending champions. However, in order to successfully defend our title, we have to beat, bar none, the best team in the league this year, Lazy Sundae. If anyone watched there game/trackmeet last week you would have saw that they are on all cylinders right now. I thought I was at the Penn Relays. It`s no surprise that our game plan is to slow them down just enough so that we are still around in the end. Hopefully we can have them take their track shoes off and invite them to play a nice game of chess and talk to them about how we used to have to walk 10 miles to school and how they just don`t make good music anymore. If we can get them to the chess table and get them to put down the batons, then we have a good shot.

NO WORRIES

don`t worry locs, they aren`t as fast as they seemed last week. it was the competition, not the speed of lazy. they are especially slow in the secondary. exploit that and being in it in the end will be their problem.

"NO WORRIES" sounds like a trap to me...I am pretty sure they have more than enough speed in the secondary.
Anyone disagree?

Tony is getting a little slow in his old age, as the last play of regulation in the Lazy/Rhinos game last spring was a long missed field goal attempt (although not by much) by Lazy. If you are going to stir up the pot, at least have your facts straight.

Just a thought...
