Coaches are being emailed voting instructions this afternoon. You can click the link at the top of this messageboard to view voting stats by team. You can only see the teams voted at a certain position. Player names will not be announced until voting is closed (though you can probably figure it out for some positions).

This weekend I will add a list of teams who have voted, so players can remind their coaches to vote if they have not done so by the deadline.

at the top of the all star stats it says voting closes on 6-26 at 9 am. but it also reads that the games will be on 6-25. im assuming voting will end on 6-19.. and not 6-26

"Can coaches vote for there own players or only opposing players?"

Only players on other teams in their own division.

"you dont know the names of the players you want to vote for?"

Its explained on the voting site, voting coaches can be as broad or specific as they want.

"Is there going to be a skills competition?"

No, just 3 all star games.

"What about kickers? No love for the kickers?"

Coaches will select kickers.

"So who will coach these motley crews of all stars?"

That is TBD, depending on the volume of votes and the games format.

"im assuming voting will end on 6-19"

Correct, I fixed the mistake.

Bright Idea

Jun 16, 2006
11:16 AM
;

B champs vs. C champs and the winner plays the A champs.

Dumb Idea

Jun 16, 2006
11:25 AM

What would be the logic in that?

Star Bright

It would show either how close are far these teams realy are.

No, not true. Outcast and Lions are not that bad. Goldrush and Mac Daddies are not that good. So it does not prove a thing

You can`t go by records alone.Look at the scores. There were a lot of good games across the board this year. The point differentials were closer this year than I can remember.

Sooooooooo

The winner of the Heat/Mavs series should play the winner of the Cavs/Wizards series. Makes alot of sense to me. I`m also looking to invest in some Iraqi money can someone help me out? Star Bright any suggestions?

agree

I think they should just save time and do away with the regular season and schedule the final four based on who everyone on the messageboard thinks is the best teams. That way all the self promoting teams that choke during the regular season and playoffs don`t have to dirty their cleats to get to their rightful place. Why should they have to prove it on the field?

Bad time to invest. Looks like they will be going to the U.S. money any day now. Better to invest in the IFFL. It looks like it is going to blow up soon. A vs the winner of the B vs the C battle is not that bad an idea.

I agree

It could either, put all the "any given sunday" BS to rest, or it could shed some light on the weaker leagues.

What about this idea

Jun 16, 2006
12:02 PM

I agree the IFFL is about to blow up. What about for all championship and all star games prior to the start of the games player introductions being announced and the Star Spangled Banner being sung? Good or Bad Idea?
