one thing about the lions is this: they have won some fairfax league titles but never seem to even show at states, so what is so great about them, and i seriously think the person who said they have the most athletic team is on something, that is just a joke.....

oh yeah, and if the poster who calls himself is the coach of the lions is the guy who just hoots and hollers at the game but doesn`t do anything, he should be quiet. they have this one guy who i swear is like the team mascot or something, always yelling about how hyped he is but he DOES NOTHING!!!!! ....except be the head mascot/cheerleader!! ha!

You guys need to stop.Lions - you are competitive and a good team.Just play and play without the cheapshots.It is not up to us to judge whether they are intentional or not.We are in this league together.Other people need to get off of their track.If you haven`t beaten them then don`t trash talk.That alone initiates the physical part.A lot of us have played for years and don`t need the bullshit that you younger guys are starting.CUT IT OUT and play the game !!!! You have a lot to say and you make some valid points.There will be contact, but putting a bulls eye on someone is not football.We have all got caught up in the game and gave someone a shot, but to do it time and time again just to show you can hit is NOT part of the game.Also, just because one guy likes to take cheap shots does not make the whole team dirty.I look forward to playing the Lions.They bring out the best in everyone and make it competitive.

i have to agree that picking on one person is not right. but if that one person that is getting free, then that one person may feel as if he is getting a bullz-eye put on his back. but its not that at all. if you are getting more attention the the next guy. you should take that as a compliment. it might hurt a little, but it comes with being a good pass rusher or blocker. So dont take it personal. take pride in knowing that you need more attention the the next guy.

Lions-you guys have a good team and your record shows it.It is always fun to go up against your guys, but you have a few guys that need to realize that you don`t have to knock the sh@t out of somebody to get respect.I know we all get caught up in the game and adrenaline gets going , but some of the shots those guys are giving are flagrant and intentional.I would hope that no one in this league wants to hurt another player,so I hope things change.Otherwise- good luck and I hope we see you in the playoffs.

Don`t worry y`all, it`s all good...just be ready to get what you give. Some teams in this league have a rep. Be aware of it, and don`t be intimidated by it.
If you get a little "compliment" or "extra attention", give a little back. Take a penalty to make a point if you must. On the passive-aggressive side, maybe draw a penalty to get one of thier thugs tossed. I don`t condone any of it and it`s certainly the last thing on my mind during a game when I`m trying to score points, but I won`t have my guys running scared of anybody.
Lastly, just remember that nothing is as satisfying a watching the other team walk off losing. If your team is talented and plays well together you don`t have to resort to thuggery to win. Period.
