Two bogus calls were made in the Autumn Woods game this weekend.
First in the Blazers vs. Mutiny, the Blazers were down six and with 8 tics remaining their QB threw a deep desperation pass to the Mutiny ten yardline. A Mutiny player (who made the pull) stupidly called a time out (the blazers were out of TO.) The ref on the home side signaled for the clock to stop. After arguments by both teams that ref (the one who signaled for the clock to stop) waived the timeout off giving the Mutiny the win.
The very next game Potomac was up 20-14 with 10 seconds left. Lakeside was on the Potomac 10 yard line and snapped the ball with no timeouts. Their QB rolled right and decided to run...he DOVE head first at the endzone dropping his shoulder into a Potomac player and coming up short of the goalline. The SAME ref who made a shit call in game one called the Potomac defender who was DOVE INTO for HOLDING and Lakeside was awarded one untimed down from the one yard line. They scored on their FREE PLAY and kicked an extra point for the 21-20 win.

Blazers were down by 8 points and ran out of time. If they would have not run there mouth to the ref and called him names they may have tied the game. They lost not by the ref but by there own actions.

I have to agree with Paulie.They were upset that play was stopped and when the refs called the game - they went ballistic.I probably would have given them an earful myself.
three different refs with three different views of the rules need to be on the same page

The game WAS close, the Blazers were coming back in a big way.I was watching as a fan.Put yourself in their shoes and I would bet you would have reacted the same way.This is not complaining- we are making the league aware , so it won`t happen again. There is a difference.

The player on Potomac was called for IMPEADING not holding...and it was a bad call. It should have been flag gaurding on Lakeside and the game should have ended right then and there.

We won the game on the field. It was a poor call by the ref which cost us to have to play an "UN-TIMED" down aka a free play. The lakeside team was given an extra play to beat us. So we did win the game in the amount of time allowed...we lost on a bad call by an inexperienced ref. None of us bitched or moaned but it is only fair to bring this up to our commish and the league.

I THINK MR RIGHT IS WRONG BECAUSE YOU CAN WIN A GAME IN ONE PLAY. MR RIGHT IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE GUYS FROM MUTINY AND IS SAYING THAT BECAUSE HE WAS SCARED THEY WERE GOING TO LOOSE IF THE REFS WOULD HAVE LET THE BLAZERS PLAY THAT PLAY.

Of course not. we don`t wan`t the refs to make the right calls, we dont wan`t the game to end on time, instead of early, we don`t wan`t to play our last play of the game. Why would we wan`t that, oh thats right maybe so we can "Take care of business on the field." fuckin retard.

Who cares ? We all care because any given Sunday - a close game could come down to the same situation, so it needs to be resolved.For someone who doesn`t care - you seem to have a lot of input.Wait till it happens to you - then we will see what you have to say.

Please direct officiating complaints, comments, inquiries etc... to Rob Holland (rob@iffl.us) We try to streamline roles and responsibilities with league management, and Rob handles communication with the officials.
Emailing Rob is the best way to gets these issues the proper attention. We do follow-up with complaints and comments through the team`s coach.

Lakeside v. Potomac
Don`t forget that we (Lakeside) had a touchdown called back the series before the last drive and we were moved back to the 25 yrd line...we ended up not scoring on that drive!
Blame the refs if you want but your defense was really soft the last 1:30 of the game. I would put the loss on the shoulders of the weak corner back play.... and try to play a little tighter on the slants during the opponents winning drive next week.
Good Luck to all...and remember...we all have the same refs.

Zing...our corners suck but that doesn`t mean we should lose on a bad call...
I`ll take this loss I don`t mind...i`m not protesting or any of that shit. I just don`t want something like that to happen again down the road.

Well I think even though we are new to this league and we tried to be in a harder division we are all right...we have played well, no cheap shots no cursing and no BS!! We have lost all of our games and I asked all of our players are they mad and we ALL said no due to the fact we are having fun...THAT is the point we do not mind losing or winning because we are having fun. Potomac and Blazers both suck. You are bottom feeders begging for a win. Take it from guys who played in this league for years you a terrible. Potomac has 2 good WRs and a good QB and thats it. The Blazers would not win 3 games in the C division. You both suck and will not win again. Stop wasting everyones time with your stupid complaints. Potomac is just happy they got to play the blazers.

You guys have got to put a stop to this BS.It is uncalled for and it makes the guys who have been in this league a long time pissed off.If you find out who is doing this they should not be eligible for the rest of the season and I think I speak for a majority of guys in the league.
