I want to win as bad as the next guy. However when you take out the pure love of the game and the fun. What do you have? A bunch of grown men bitchen over a game. A game I love from the age of 5. When did it get so serious? We pay to play. We don`t get paid. I just wish it was like it was back in the day. You run down to the red car and turn around. There was no trash talken or cheap shots. No one had to prove anything, all you did was play.

;	Yep! thats why i play...cuz i love this game. but back in the day, there werent refs that made bogus calls. we lost our game, we feel we could have won it, and it sucks. all that means is that we have a chip on our shoulders and were gonna come out playin harder next week. thats all there is to it

;	I think everybody is having fun, but I`ve learned over four seasons that "fun" means different things to different people. We started in Fall 03 as an 0-7 team in FCFFL`s Novice division. The guys that came out to get exercise and comraderie enjoyed themselves, but those who wanted to win weren`t having much fun. As our team evolved, that difference of opinion was becoming a problem. The guys that wanted exercise and non-competitive play weren`t getting as much field time, as the players who wanted to win took the game into thier own hands. This season, we ultimately divided into two teams...the MuddDawgs for competitive players and the UnderDawgs for novices and those that want just want to play the way you speak of, Fun. Point is, my understanding is that A/B is about competition. If you want to play without that element, Novice division is for you. I like the way IFFL manages that divide. Unfortunately, some personalities don`t want this kind of side drama, and it`s part of the game at the competitive levels. The key is to find the division you belong in and go with it. I`ll guarantee you that the people who are posting on this board are really having more fun that you think they are. I don`t think anybody would spend time doing anything they don`t think is fun, including posting messages on this board. Am I wrong?

;	Yes and No. The games is always fun. It is the dram that has gotten to me. We lost because of this and that and the refs this. Just play and shut up and quit crying. The C league in not up to my level of play, but not going to knock it either. Over all this is a great league. People need to remember nothing is perfect. Refs will make good and bad calls. They do it in the NFL every game.
