With only a week left in the regular season there are some teams fighting to make the playoffs. Here is this weeks Top 10:

Rhinos should not even be in the top 10 so you know Broadlands does not belong there!
No team from that division will win thier first round game unless they play each other and then they will lose the next game like 34-0.
Top ten means who do you think makes it past the first round playoffs so my top ten are:

Come on guys.I don`t think there is any given in the top ten.Most of the top teams got there by beating up on teams they are supposed to beat(teams with losing records).This coming week will tell the tale when the #1 teams play the #2 teams.Personally I have not seen any one team that is unbeatable.They may be undefeated right now , but any given Sunday....We have seen some shockers this year and I bet we will see some more.

The Rhinos defeated Mutiny 21-0 this season. You have Mutiny ranked #8 but you feel the Rhinos should not be in the top 10? Hmmmm??? They deserve a 5/6 ranking. In addition, their defense has only given up 14 pts all season. I really don`t see the Rhinos losing 34-0 to any team outside of their division. I agree the Lions should be ranked #1 or #2 but note the Rhinos have beaten both the Lions and No Fear (My Plumber) in previous seasons and you have them ranked #2 and #3. I definitely agree the Novas and Lazy Sundae should be in the top 4.

Tony, should Broadland`s be in the top 10? Absolutely not. Yes they are 5-1, but against average B teams at best. They lost to Larrys last week and have not had any sucess in the post season. Broadland`s has not done much the last 2 seasons either(3-5 Spr04 and 5-5 Fall04 in the weaker fall IFFL league)! NEXT
Tony, are the Rhinos a top team? No. The Rhinos have great regular seasons every year but never win in the post season. They have gone 14-0 during the last 2 regular seasons (Spr04, Fall05)but have not won a playoff game. They also played in the B playoffs during Fall04. You can not be considered a top team if you can`t even win a B playoff game! NEXT
Tony, should the NOVAs be ranked #1 ahead of the Lions? No. The Lions have lost 1 game at the A level in the last 17. The only team to beat them (Sharks: Champ Fall03, Fall04)is not in the league this spring. That combined with the fact that the last 2 times these 2 teams have met, the Lions have won by a combined score of 37-10. The Lions have to get the nod at #1 until someone can beat them! Next

Quick rebuttal to Tony’s Rhinos bashing:
1. As coach of the Rhinos, I will be the first to admit we are not proud of our recent playoff history. We have followed up three straight regular season division titles with major playoff chokes.
2. Yes we did play B in the fall, so that means we are not a top team? With the exception of NOVAS, Kilroy Lions and Lazy Sundae not sure how many teams we have this spring that did play A (and by A I do not mean the fall IFFL) in the fall and were successful.
3. In general, we get along with most of the teams in the league so we will not get into any bashing of any of the teams ranked in the various top ten lists.
Good luck to all in the playoffs. Based on recent history, count on a lot upsets. Who knows, maybe the Rhinos will win a game or two.

All you have to do is look at the last 5 years to see that the top 2 teams ranking in the playoffs NEVER WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.Here is the rank of the champions of the last 5 years: 9,6,11,3,5. What does that tell you is it does not matter who is #1 or who is #2 because kilroy lions,novas,mudawgs,rhinos or whoever is undefeated are going down unless they throw the last game!!!!!!!!!

I thought we are in the Spring 2005 season. The past does not matter nore does your record, if you make it to the playoffs. Just let the season unfold and we will see who comes out on top.

anyone who really thinks the team No Fear is My Plumber is sorely mistaken, only like 3 guys are playing for No Fear from My Plumber and they aren`t even close to being the better players from My Plumber. to think they are the same team would be silly.....

Ooooh...even with all these 1 vs 2 matchups, this is the Game of the Week. Tough ticket at Braddock Park this Sunday. Gotta give a slight advantage to the commish`s squad with thier usual cushy 10:30 kickoff slot. The Muddogs will probably have a hard time playing in the bright mid-morning sunshine after being forced to sleep in. But in this one, I`m gonna go with the Dogs. They seem to be improving every season and the Canes, while playing at a high level, aren`t the same team they were for thier run last fall. My guess is that they are half Canes and half fill-ins. What happens to these Spring teams anyway? Where is the rest of the team? In softball leagues? I mean, come on Tony, SOFTBALL?
