NOVAs vs Scrubs: This game will be a tune up for the NOVAs. The Scrubs are coming off back to back shutouts, but those games were against weak teams (2-12 record). Look for them to be outmatched from the start. The NOVAs offence will be able to move down the field at will against a somewhat weak Scrubs deffencive unit and a revamped deffence by the NOVAs will stop anything the Scrubs try to do. This one won`t be close. NOVAs 28 Scrubs 7

Mac Daddies vs Goin Deep: The seedings are a bit deceptive in this one. The Mac Daddies are 5-2, but 3 of those wins are against teams that are 4-17. Another win for them was by forfeit. The two good teams they faced dominated them. Goin Deep on the other hand, is on a roll at the right time. They have won 3 straight while putting up 25 a game. This offense knows how to put the ball in the endzone. Look for this to be tight early but Goin Deep`s offence will be to much in the end. Goin Deep 21 Mac Daddies 10

Mudd Dawgs vs Outcast: This game could be the closest 1st round game out there. Although the Dawgs are coming off a big loss after starting 6-0, they showed they do have some talent. Their QB has a good deep ball and #85 is a playmaker. Outcast is a veteran team with an offense that can make plays. Their problem is on the defensive side. They make to many mistakes and give up big plays to often. This one will be tight but the Dawgs will get it done. Mudd Dawgs 21 Outcast 20

Lazy Sundae vs Mutiny: This game will not be close. Lazy Sundae has a big play offense that is driven by their QB and #9. They have 2 other receivers that are more than capable of burning you deep. Mutiny has had a solid season but are just overmatched here. The 2 games they had against top teams were not even close (they lost both by a combined 48-7). Their D is very weak and Lazy Sundae just has too many weapons on offence. Lazy Sundae 24 Mutiny 7

Kilroy`s Lions vs No Fear: Interesting game here. No Fear hung with the Lions earlier this season. Although they have little offense (58 pts in 7 games) their D usually keeps them in it. The Lions on the other hand are loaded. They have a great defense as well as a big play offense (#9,#0). They probably have the most speed in the league along with a great rush. The Lions should gain control of this one early and cruise to the second round. Kilroy`s Lions 17 No Fear 0

Larry`s vs Dietz Nutz: This game will be won by the team that decides to show up. Larry`s put up the most points this spring, but that was against the weakest of the 4 divisions. Dietz Nutz is hard to figure out. They win a big game one week and then have a let down the next. This has been their MO all spring. Look for Dietz Nutz to show up this week and win a highly entertaining game. Dietz Nutz 28 Larry`s 24

Broadland`s Pub vs All Makes: Broadland`s had a good spring, but if you look a little closer, it wasn`t that impressive. Their 5 wins were against teams that were 7-29. They lost both games against teams with a winning record. All Makes also had a good record, but a closer look reveals the same as above. Four of their wins were against teams that were a combined 6-23. They did beat the Mac Daddies but lost both of the other games against winning teams. Look for Broadland`s experience to be the key factor in this one. Broadland`s Pub 14 All Makes 10

Rhinos vs Goldrush: Although this looks like a blowout game, don`t be surprized by the outcome. The Rhinos were 8-0 and gave up only 14 pts all spring, but they have a history of doing zilch in the playoffs. They have gone undefeated the last 2 reg seasons only to lose in the first round each year. Goldrush is an improved squad that keeps getting better each season. Although they had 3 losses this spring, 2 were against the Lions and Lazy Sundae. Look for Goldrush to keep it close and steal a win in the end. Goldrush 17 Rhinos 14

Goldrush will fall and fall hard. They have gotten lucky a few times. They have no QB or line. Rhinos win this one big. I`m not with the Rhinos but they are the best team I have seen this season hands down.

Thanks for the compliment visitor, and I agree that "The Post" is smoking something. But if you really wanna know sports, I would never suggest the Post anyway.

I`d just like to know how the Post figured Goldrush would drop 17 on us, when our D has only given up 14 pts all season? A feat no other team in the playoffs is even close to. (Say what you want about weak divisions and strength of schedule, but a shutdown is a shutdown - and a defense can do no better than post a shutout.)

As for playoff history, every one of the Rhinos is aware of their past playoff performance, and we are all determined to change that this year.

But these predictions are folly, and provide entertainment for us all. Best of luck to Goldrush on Sunday. Let`s have a good game.

I think the games will be much lower scoring than these predictions.

Rhino 33 guess what? I looked at last year and your team gave up only 19 points all season. I see you were the 2 seed last season too. I see that the 15 seed knocked your ass out in the first round last season too. Now what do you got to say?

Hey Gint,

I say you need to worry about your own team. Rhino D has always been one of the best in the league. And this year we have made offensive changes. There will be no 2-15 upset this year.

Put it in print.

Thats all i got to say about that. Things to remember:

1)This is flag football. Keep perspective.

2)Talk is cheap.

3)What goes around comes around.

Don`t worry about Gint, I`m guessing he`s not playing anymore so he can dedicate all of his time to the history of the Rhinos. He might make our squad as the historian.

Don`t pad yourself on the back too hard because you got lucky and you know it.

WE got lucky? We controlled the game from start to finish. LUCK at the end was why it was close. Not taking anything away from Goldrush, but our mistakes were the only reason the game was as close as it was.

Gint you are clueless.
