A little late this week with the column (on vacation playing golf with Wilbon).

#1 CCR NOVAs (8-0)
#2 Lazy Sundae (7-1)
#3 Rhinos (8-0)
#4 Kilroy`s Lions (7-1)
#5 No Fear (5-3)
#6 Goin Deep (6-2)
#7 Larry`s (6-2)
#8 Broadland`s Pub (6-2)
#9 Outcast (5-3)
#10 Mudd Dawgs (6-2)

This weeks matchups:
NOVAs/Goin Deep: NOVAs have their hands full this week. Closer then the experts think but the NOVAs playoff experience should be enough to get it done.
Lazy/Outcast: Lazy`s big play offense will make enough big plays to send them to the semis for the 3rd straight spring.
No Fear/Larry`s: No Fear is coming off big upset win. The D should dominate this one and send them to the semis in their 1st year.
Rhinos/Broadland`s: This one has the makings of a classic. These 2 are very evenly matched (first game was 3-0). Broadland`s will make one more play this time, and win.

We had 8 starters out of town on Sunday. Rhino`s are okay, but I think they will be exposed. See ya in the fall.

Wilbon-

The Lions lost one game all season by 2 points in the final seconds. Regardless if they lost in the first round (upsets do happen), they are clearly one of the top 4 teams out there. Broadland`s Pub fell out b/c of a big loss. I know they were short players, but a big loss is gonna drop you. By the way...It`s WILBON knucklehead!

I agree. They are fine where they are.You have to look at strength of schedule.Outcast lost two games by a total of two points. That would`ve changed their record completely. then you have some high ranking teams that crushed weak teams or first year teams.I think K is pretty accurate.Novas win when they have to and the Rhinos got momentum and neveer looked back.No fear had some tough ones.Lost to lion and then beat them, but lost to Larrys.Goin deep is always game and Lazy has good talent a smart QB and a little luck which is always a good combination.Mudd Dawgs,Mac Daddies,Mutiny,Goldrush and Dietz nuts were competitive and started strong , but you never knew what they were going to bring. And when you add in the other teams with losing records providing upsets every week,I`d say this was the best season yet.Great season !!!!!!!!!!!!

ve Some Class

Broadlands, have a little class! Maybe we will lose the next game, but how will we be exposed? If you want to get in a pissing match, you may recall, we beat you in the regular season (when you had your full squad) and anyone who watched the game knows we dominated by a lot more than the final score of 3 to 0. We had three first and goals while you may have crossed half field for one play. I may have missed it, but I don`t think anyone on our team has ever bashed you guys.

Larrys is top 4 no questions asked.

They are a final 4 team plus they defeated No Fear who defeated Kilroy Lions. Those 2 teams cannot be ranked above Larrys.

btw, they also beat the team that defeated Lazy Sundae.

I would have to agree.I would rank Larrys #3.Ahead of Rhinos until this weekends game. Then you will know how the top four really rank.

Larry`s should definately be in the Top 4. I would give them #4 for now. They seem to be playing well, however, you still need to give the Rhinos the edge (17-7 reg season win). I doubt the Larry`s would argue with that. Both semis are good match-ups.

to broadlands, remember the regular season game between you and Rhinos you had a full squad and they blew three scoring chances to barely beat your team 3-0. Do you really think it would have been different last sunday the way the played?

honestly?

This is a bit misleading. Are the rankings based on history over years? Or just the spring? If its over the years I would have to put my two cents in and say Novas and Lions have to be the top teams. Look at the past seasons. Then Sharks and My Plumber would have to be up there. These are the true power house squads in area. Now if your talking just about spring then things are different. Eventhough Larry`s, Rhino`s, Macdaddies and Lazy have good showings in this spring they are middle of the pack teams if you look at everything overall. I would pay closer attention to the Fall season where the competition is much higher. To the eager beavers out there- join the FCFFL league on the weeknights if you want to be considered a real contender.

Hey Rhinos... Please ignore anything that is supposedly said from my team - if any of my team posts shit about another team... they will be looking for another team.

#1 is obvious since there is only one undefeated team left. #2 Lazy-S since they beat Novas. #3 Novas. I don`t think anything else changes since we`re talking final Spring ranking.
