04/27 : Outcast sinks Ruckus 19-14

Outcast improves to 1-3 early in the season, while Ruckus drop to 0-3.

The victory snapped a 3 game losing streak for Outcast.

The loss continues a 2 game skid for Ruckus which now extends to 3 losses in a row. This is the most points scored in a game this season by Ruckus.Prior to this game, these teams had met only one other time, on Oct 14 2012, 09:00, a IFFL - Reston/Fairfax Fall League "B" regular season game which Outcast won 14-7.

Gametime temperature was a brisk 51 degrees under overcast skies.

Next up for Ruckus is TMT (3-1). That game is scheduled for May 04 2014, 10:00 at EC Lawrence #2.

Outcast will face off against Badboyz (0-1) on May 04 2014, 11:00 at EC Lawrence #1.

;	One of our guys fielded a kickoff in the endzone and thought the play was over and never took a knee. Then thinking the play was over he handed the other team back there ball in the endzone and when he did that the ref signaled a touchdown. But I thought there were no fumbles or strips in flag football. Even though it was a bonehead play to hand the ball off to another player it technically is the same thing as being stripped but the refs explained that you actually can strip the ball from another player as long as you don`t touch them. So IDK it was just a fluke play that made us lose. Without that score we win 14-13. Just Ruckus luck!

;	The key is to not impede the runner. There are strips, but if you grab at the ball and don`t get it clean, it`s impeding. On kickoffs, you can take the ball from the guy if he is just standing in the endzone or say the 19 yard line. It happens more than you think. Smart play on their part, sucks to lose because of it.
