Looks like the Monarchs suck without their 16 year old star. I think that one guy that got kicked out after getting scored on in the first possession should be praying to Team Jesus since he was blessed that Invisble Man didn`t really "put the pads on then." It could/would have ended very ugly for him.
doyouevenliftbro also got cheated out of another TD at the end by #7. He`s probably the best player on their team. Seems the Monarchs probably wouldn`t have scored at all, but they got lucky when they figured out that their "semi-pro" (read: pay to play in an adult football league) players catch better with their legs than their hands.

where did you play football in college? Must have been a big D-1 school since you are so dominating out there? Athleticism is the main thing that separates most players on the flag football field. If you were THAT athletic, it would show. Secondly, YOU signed up for a flag football league so how can you be mad that there is no contact?? I think you are noticing that the flag game is a lot different than the contact game. Adjust and stop the whining. If you`re good enough, you`ll make it happen. Let`s see it!

I`m dying on the floor right now...
7 is the best player on our team, obviously, but he needs some dance lessons so he can loosen up his hips a bit, or maybe just get a bit faster...
I`m also amazed at the fact that opposing teams still don`t understand the irony of our team name... "lets find out if they lift" "they probably don`t even lift"...
Monarch`s #3 had a great concentration play deep, but other than that the receivers seemed to have been more interested in volleyball-spiking in lieu of catching the football... I`m pretty sure the o-line had the majority of the receptions
And if homeboy wants to sponsor me financially for semi-pro ball, I`d be more than happy to "put the pads on"... but he has to promise not to try and pull my pants off or dry hump me from behind again like he did last night...

Just for a bit of clarity, a LOT of our players play in MAFFL or other downfield blocking flag leagues. Its just a different style of play. I personally think that our style of the game is the best. You still get the contact at the line of scrimmage and you can have a wide open, high scoring offensive attack.

1) Having played against this team, I seriously doubt #7 is their best player. #22 is probably their best player. Decent WR and very difficult to block when he rushes.
2) Their weakness is QB, no disrespect intended, but he doesn`t throw a very accurate ball. He has good speed and athleticism, but not much of a passer. That will continue to be there downfall against Collision in the playoffs.
3) Can we all be honest and say that Semi-pro football is pretty much a joke? Seriously, DIII and NAIA colleges would mop the floor with Semi-pro teams. Shoot, most of the HS teams up here in NOVA would mop the floor with Semi-pro teams. I`m not trying to take shots at the Monarchs, they`re on of the better Sunday night teams. But let`s get carried away with what Semi-pro football is and what it isn`t.

1) Wow, there is a lot of angry bitter people on this board.
2) I hate that this makes me sound like a fan of doyouevenlift, but they are a pretty good team. Yea, they lost 34-7 to Collision, so what? Collision is by far the best team on Sunday nights. Doyouevenlift is probably the 2nd best team (at worst 3rd) on Sunday night. It just so happens that there is a huge gap between #1 and #2.

i am the only person in the whole entire world that has scored a touchdown on collision this season. obviously this was a big no-no in the league`s eyes and they are clearly out to get me moving forward.

If i could draw your attention to the left hand column, the previous quote was authored by "James", it looks like the majority of my teammates aren`t afraid to use the login function and stand behind what they say, I`m not saying that those who don`t disclose their identities are afraid/scared/insincere, but unless the comment comes along with a Jersey icon then don`t we all just have to take the poster`s word that they are who they claim to be?
With regards to the method in which i would have swatted the mosquito that was buzzing in my ear before being ejected from the game, i would like you to join me in a very complicated maneuver i like to call turning around:
1. Stand with your feet square under your shoulders
2. Your right foot approximately 10 inches forward at an angle of at least 45° (but no more than 100° so as to avoid injury)
3. Shift your weight onto the aforementioned right foot, and rotate about it placing your left foot back at approximately shoulder width from your right foot and your body should be about 180° from where it began.
After the turning maneuver is finished a betch slap is really executed based upon personal preference, i personally prefer to have a teammate sprinkle baby powder onto my right hand before i execute the full motion, including follow through (the follow through is necessary for a baby-powder-hand imprint upon the cheek)
Also it`s important to mention none of this is necessary (the turn nor betch slap) if the betch in question is nothing more to you than an annoyance who is neither about "that life" nor worth wasting the time (albeit 4 seconds) it would take to address the situation.
If you need further explanation I`m sure there are some instructional videos on a website called youtube.com, i can provide a step by step instruction of how to access the site if necessary, but you`re on your own from there
