this messages goes out to the referees of the goin deep and lazy sunday/canes game... you blew it. That second lateral was thrown 2 yards forward and conviently you all missed it. Everybody that was there knows what Im talking about. It was tough to watch goin deep lose in that fashion. better luck next time goin deep.

no disrespect to the sharks they played a great game and earned the win but the refs blew a lateral call in our game as well that was about 4 yards forward, ended up not making a difference but annoying all the same

the lateral in the canes/going deep game may have been forward .. but a ref cant make a call if they dont see it... true it sucks u guys lost like that but refs miss calls all the time. anyways.. did u guys hear the canes beat the kerns.. 21-14 see yall on the field .

Refs always seem to have problems with laterals.It is hard to call them when everyone is moving downfield.I have been on both sides of the ball and I wouldn`t want to be in that position.Maybe someone will come up with something to help remdy the problem.I hear instant replay works well.

Congradulations to all the teams that came out and made this thing happen. Big thanks to Tom, Rob, and Shay for putting it together.
To GD, the first pitch was good. The second, from my angle, was questionable. Both teams played a hell of a game to let it be decided on a penalty. We lost both games last year on penalties in the last minute. So trust me, I know the feeling. You guys are going far in all the leagues you play in. Thanks, good luck, and see you in the fall.
For all hatas, It`s true 1 call can change a game, but it doesn`t make the game. I`m pretty sure you all have won and lost a game on questionabe calls. But I bet you didn`t bitch at the refs when it went your way. DON`T HATE! CONGRADULATE!

Part of thing with the refs is that they are never in the right position to make the call... half of them can`t even maneuver into position in the first place... but it was hot... and they`re all older than all (or most) of the players out there - so I`ll cut slack on the position calls.
I did have an issue with the time clock though. I fully understand a running clock, but I`d like to know how more than three minutes ran off the clock in three plays (a kickoff, incomplete pass, and long TD run) and not one delay game penalty??
Lazy Sundae knows what I`m talking about... but congrats to you guys... that was a hell of a game and you had the hearts (and class) to win it. And you were probably due some good karma. Congrats on the title. Glad to see you guys win it.
Hell of job Sef on filling QB too. Does this mean a QB controversy going into the season??? The media wants to know...

Does Sef wear 81? I thought he was their QB. The last time we played them he was their QB. If he is not I would hate to see their normal one. 81 was the best QB out there yesterday and it wasn`t even close.

let me set the record straight... the originator of this post was not on our team (goin deep). we lost fair and square. the game should have never come to that play. its a tough way to lose but its done. it reminded me of the music city miracle.
congrats to the canes (lazy sundae). thats a tough day of football and you guys pulled through.

that lateral looks like it was forward but guess what you all DESERVED to lose like that by letting them get inside your 20 in 2 plays. defense win championships and you all choked when the game was on the line dont expect the refs to run 50 yds down the sideline as fast as the players plain and simple you should have never let that qb run free down the field and get that first pitch off anyway thats why you lost the game.
