We will NOT start on the 21st for 2 reasons: (1) BC Park got booked for a soccer tournament on the 21st at the same time we turned in our field requests, (2) quite a few teams have told me they cannot field a team on the 21st anyway.

So, week one will be August 28th - and registration is extended to August 20th or 24 teams, whichever comes first.

Here is a preliminary peek at the divisions:

A League:
---------
*MuddDawgs
*Goin Deep
*Broadlands
*The Guns (new team)
*Goldrush
*Fighting Chickens
*Dietze Nutz
*Lazy Sundae (12-man Sunday team)
*Mutiny
*Outcast
*Spalding

B League:
---------
*Clubhouse
*Red Storm
*DWC
*4th and 26 (new team)
*United
*Southside Grays (new team)

That`s 16 teams who have registered (some have registered but not paid yet, so its not in stone)

There are a few other registrations started online but not completed, and also there might be some registrations mailed in (have not checked the PO Box in a week).

We have space for 24 teams, and at this rate it looks like we might hit that mark. We will be running 8 games per week at Baron Cameron, and 4 games at Wakefield Park in Annandale each Sunday.

24 is the limit for teams, but we might do two divisions of A (16 teams) and
one B division (8 teams).

added Spalding - they`re in for A

Anybody know anything about THE GUNS. How often does a new team go straight to "A", and who decides?
