We all hate when games are cancelled , but i think there is a solution. Most youth leagues cancel when it rains , leaving the turf fields open. Since most of our games are near those turf fields, why don`t we ask Fairfax County if we can move to those fields when the youth leagues cancel. I have seen the soccer guys jump on those fields at every opportunity, especially when the youth games are called and they don` have permits . This way , we get our games in and the County doesn`t have to scramble to get us fields and we don`t have to worry about double headers or extending the season. WIN- WIN situation !
