SCAVENGERS starts the season with a win, while Child Please drops one in the loss column.
This was the first meeting between these two teams.
Next up for SCAVENGERS is Lazy Sundae (0-0). That game is scheduled for Apr 15 2012, 09:00 at GMU Rec Field 4.
Child Please will face off against United (0-0) on Apr 15 2012, 11:00 at EC Lawrence#1.

All I can say is I hope they hang in there and actually take these games as learning experiences. I did see a good sign though, I saw 4 or 5 of them practicing after our game.

I hope all the new teams hang in there. The Open format can be a harsh learning experience at times. The big thing to remember, especially for teams like Child Please and Orange Crush who both took a pretty big loss this Sunday is that you played some of the better, if not the best teams in our league. The best thing you can do is take those games as a way to realize what the level of play here is and use them as a goal to get better.
Also, don`t forget that at the end of the season, we`ll divide into different levels of play A/B/C for the playoffs, which should give everyone a chance to play teams more on their level.

How many guys CP have playing QB?? Had to be at least 4/5 different guys behind center. Once they decide on one guy and get some run in they will be fine.

They were playing musical chairs @ QB and we all know that`s the worst position to keep changing.
Like Josh was saying, just know you were playing one of the better teams in the league so what didn`t work against them, might work against another team.

Yup, and it can be very tough to figure out a spread offense, especially one with a very good QB like Jeremy.

Child Please is in for a long season. They had issues on both sides of the ball. Couldn`t stop Scav`s O at all. Scavs could have dropped 50 on them. Scav`s D literally could have had 10 picks if their sorry DB`s could catch the ball. Child Please needs a QB, badly. They will go winless this year.

If Scavs could have dropped 50 on them, they should`ve and the next poster is right. Every true new team has come into this league and been blown out by a veteran team, and gone 0-for in the season. give them a break.
