I would never check the weeknight board bc I dont play weeknights but just happened to go there to see who won. Thats not too much to ask for considering the way tom laid it out for them in general. I understand we wont know who have bids until it`s over but just some kind of general info would be nice.

Coaches have already been emailed about bids and who will be taking them. just asking for some info period. tom laid it real nice for the weeknight board He did, I`ll be happy to lay that on here as well, but to be fair we`ve just been taking care of it behind the scenes. I`ll be happy to create a list of who`s got bids and who`s taking them. I`ll try to get that up later tonight.

;	The State bids are not 100% set yet???? Still waiting to here from all the coaches. Some teams are taking their FCFFL bid instead of the IFFL bid, and other teams that earned a bid said they can`t play so I`m going down the line in order to see if other teams that placed lower in the IFFL want that bid. As soon as ALL IFFL bids are filled I will post them by Spring and Fall. It should be set by Sunday b/c all the teams that have said they want their bid are supposed to meet me at the fields to get their packets.

;	Rumor has it that they will allow up to 100 teams to states this year? That seems like a ton of bids. Are the sending out 100 bids or do the bids just get first opprotunity? I would think with 100 teams being allowed to come, that more Fairfax teams would be able to represent. Didnt they have 60 teams last year?

;	So there`s a total of somewhat around 116 teams that can participate in States this year. The last time we had the tournament here in Fairfax 88 teams participated. The thing to keep in mind is that we get a certain number of bids based on the size of our league. Combined between Spring and Fall, the IFFL has 21 bids to States this year and we believe we`re going to fill them all. Add that to the 17 that I see Tom has listed for weeknight (he may have more, I don`t know) which I believe he`ll fill too and that`s a total of 38 bids out of a possible 116 going to Fairfax. Basically we`ve got 33% of the possible teams in the field this year. That`s over half of the number of teams that even participated in States last year. I`d say we`re going to have a good showing :)
