Stone Cold improves to 4-1 on the season, while SCAVENGERS drops to 4-2.
This is the second time Stone Cold shutout an opponent this season. The victory continues a 2 game winning streak for Stone Cold which now stands at 3 wins in a row.
This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by SCAVENGERS, and the first time SCAVENGERS failed to score against an opponent this season. Coupled with a loss in their previous game SCAVENGERS is now on a two game slide.
These teams had played each other twice prior to this matchup. Their most recent matchup was Apr 03 2011, 10:30, a IFFL - Reston Spring League "Open" regular season game which SCAVENGERS won 19-17.

When SC came into this league they looked like a team with the best athletes out there but was still young and could not put it all together.
So players started hating on them and laughing at them this team with all that talent that self destruct every game. Then they started winning games.
Then they started winning championships first C then B and all those haters who expected them to do miracles the first season and was laughing are now seeing this team get to its potential.
This makes the haters mad mostly because there own scrub teams have been in the league for 10 years or more and has won nothing and now SC has finally bringing it all together and is a threat(notice I say threat not saying garunteed) to take the A ship for years to come.

at least these guys claim they are sc. Half the posts on here talking about manning and all the other b.s. is obviously scavs players and they can`t own up except for mike nunn. stop the hate. every team complains about calls and sc had rightful reason after the numerous bad calls. They had a TD in the first series that got called back bc the sideline ref is blind. I was standing inside the 20 when this happened, it was a td and no I dont play for sc. Granted they should have put up some points in the first half b4 jeremy got there, but mike nunn held it together until he did. He kept scavs in the game but jeremy is not a miracle worker, he came in and threw a pick the first offensive series. good job nunn and good game to both teams. it was a true defensive game.

Collision pass rush is quick but they are small so all you got to do is run a few crack backs and its game over. When you are on D just bump the wr hard on the line make sure they do not get behind you deep and they will have to throw short and thats when his passes get picked. A big physical and fast team like SC can shut down Collision in a heartbeat if they play them that way.

The refs were on the Scavs side the whole game even the last drive for the scavs. But our team is a family n we stick togather when its live or die situations. n really the score shouldnt of been that close but the refs took Td`s from us. But we bounced back and we won. It was a hell of a game and im not taken nothing from the scavs they are a hell of a team. But comon to say we are thugs an all we do is cuz and all this other stuff your saying. Even when we win yall have to come up with something about us trying to bring us down or look bad. Why cant yall just stop hating an realize that we are a great team. You dont see us coming on here talking **** about the teams we beat. We come on here and defend our team and family.

"Great team." See here`s the problem with all this talk. You guys haven`t made the A playoffs in an Open format yet. Now you guys are having a good season so far and will probably be the number one or two seed this year but, it`s far from over. Just look a couple seasons back when outlaws went 7-0 but lost in the second round of the playoffs.
It seems like every season a team gets hot and makes a run. It`s how you do over the long run. Great teams win their league, go deep in A state playoffs. The great teams are the ones who qualify for nationals and do well there.
Keep polishing your B and C trophies. You guys aren`t great yet. Only time will tell.

Lazy may have it tough this year, but they are one of the longest running teams in this league and have quite a few championships and almost always finished near the top. That is how they earned their respect. You don`t lose respect because you lose a few games and are not the team you used to be.SC is having a good season this year , but most of the trophies came from moving down into the B playoffs from being in the bottom of the A division. It is finally paying off for them.

The top teams in the IFFL/FCFFL are getting older , but they have a long history in flag football in NOVA. These guys are too young to understand. The newer teams need to respect the history and legacy of the older teams so the torch and the respect that goes with it can be passed on. These guys are caught up in the moment and not the big picture.

Hold up fellas! I`m the only guy on my team that comes on this MD so I know its not my team. Not taking nothing away from SC but we beat ourselves. Breakdown of the game: We got the ball first I was playing QB we got to mid field and went for it on 4th down and didn`t get it. I under threw Dumbells who was open. SC get the ball goes down and missed a FG. The catch in the endzone wasn`t a TD you need to control the ball and keep two feet in which didn`t happen.next drive we drive the ball down inside their 20 and went for it and I threw a pick in the endzone.My kickers don`t show up until playoffs. SC throws a pick end of the first half. SC gets the ball and we stop them on 4th down. We got the ball and Jeremy throws a pick. the next Drive it was 4th and goal from the 30 and they went for it. they do a double pass and he throws it up and #10 made a hell of a catch. with 4mins left we drive the ball down to the 5yd line with help of a 15yd penalty for saying something to the ref. We lost 10yrds from penalty`s and it was 4th down and Jeremy just missed Rob in the endzone and game over. god bless I fell bad for who ever we play first! You will be one and done!

All i say since day 1 is we are gonna play hard and let the chips fall were they may so far we doin pretty good i might say myself but if you got smack to talk then bring it on the field where we play evry sunday and if you don`t like what we act like or how we play then you can have your day on the field. We just bout representin and keepin things in the family no harm and no fouls. Collison has a good team but our size gonna be the diffrence....just ask scavs, they good but we out sized them and wore them down even with manning at qb. Lets just keep it on the field guys.
