Rob, Shay and Tom,
I am sure you have already heard multiple times about the field at Wakefield. The Refs did the best they could so we could get our games in. We played on half a football field (due to the hole in the middle of the field). It was kind of like playing half court basketball. Will we be playing at this same field again next week on half a field?

Pretty weak to have to play on half a field, hopefully the comish is already trying to work things out.

Of all things, I would think that would qualify as "poor field conditions". Should have tried to move them / postpone them.

I do not think they were notified. The previous week the center of the field was a mud hole. I am guessing that a pipe in the sprinkler system broke and they dug a hole in the center of the field. It was nice to play but the rules sucked. No punts or kickoffs. If you intercepted the ball it was a dead ball and you started your possession in the middle of the field. The worst was that there were no consequences for going for it on 4th down, because there was no kicking and every possession started at the middle of the field. With that being said at least we were able to get the games in and everyone played with the same rules.
