This was posted at the end of 2005 fall season and we saved it for those that might have any question about the FX 2006 fall season as far as team moving up or down between the A/B/C leagues:

For the "A" league any team that did not make the playoffs can move down to the "B" league if they chose to do so for the 2006 fall season, which would be:

1-Rhinos

2-Vienna Ballers

For the "B" league teams that must move up to "A" league are the regular season champion from each division, and any of the "B" team that made it to the final four of the "B" playoffs.

*In addition to the teams from those teams listed below any team from the "B" league that wants to move up to "A" can do so.

1-S&S National Div regular season champions

2-Invequity American Div regular season champions

3-Banditos Playoff Final four National Div

4-Gang Green Playoff Final four American Div

5-Vienna Inn Playoff Final four National Div

Any "B" teams that was below .500 may move down to the "C" if they chose to, but they can remain in the "B" if they want:

1-5 YR PLAN

2-CHUDS

3-BIG PIMPIN

4-GRAY MATTER

5-PUNISHERS

6-POTOMAC

7-MAGNUMS

8-ENTOURAGE

"C" league is just like the "B" league as far ass moving up. Each regular season champion has to move up, and any team in the final four of the "C" playoffs has to move up as well.

*In addition to the teams that have to move up any "C" team that wants to move to A or B can do if they want to.

1- VICK 4 HEISMAN National Div Regular season Champs

2- CCPC American Div Regular season Champs

3-Hammerheads Playoff Final Four National Div

4-Vienna Sausage Playoff Final Four National Div

5-Platinums Playoff Final Four American Div

Correction to the above post. In the FCFFL we DO NOT want teams regardless of record moving down into the C/Novice division. Novice is what it is a beginners division. We do NOT want below .500 B teams moving into C dominating the Novice/beginning teams. A `B" team that is .500 or below will be more organized than most Novice teams. We would hope that in the "B" division, you would be preparing your team for the "A" division. If your team was in "B" and under .500 you might want to take advantage of our Free Agent List to help improve your team`s record. We want to reserve "Novice/C" for teams who have minimal to no experience in flag football. Remember the objective is to get better and play in the "A" division and not become complacent in "C" division or in "B".

Those teams who were less than .500 in "B" will be grouped in divisions accordingly. Between the 3 of us we know just about every team in each league. Tom does a fantastic job at grouping teams, rivalries, etc....

If you still do not understand please give me a call. 703/371-4952.

Thanks!!

I understand the idea in hoping teams improve to join the top division A. I play for an "A league team myself but I disagree with the point that most B and C league teams are trying to reach the A level. A lot of these teams consist of friends that aren`t looking for the next free agent pick up to improve their team. Obviously if they finish under .500 in B they are not going to dominate C. The league is awesome but if you are going to restrict teams moving down because they can`t compete in a certain division, in my opinion that would be a mistake.

My two cents.

would lightening, drunkin clams and all the other teams with only one or two wins get a choice to move down to C?

To "OFF" this is a FCFFL issue, if you want to reiterate your "two cents" I will discuss with you further either you can call me and give me your opinion, or you can continue this thread on the FCFFL website.

Thanks!

I agree with Rob we DO NOT want A or B teams that were below .500 in 2005 to move down a level BUT this is an option that has been the choice of teams since conception of the FCFFL. The reason for this is that teams that finished in the top 4 spots by rule have to move up to B (from C) or A (from B) for at least one season and after they play that year they some chose to move back down as they finished below .500 record.

Sorry for the confusion by Me and Rob on this matter, for the record I do agree with Rob we don`t want any teams to move back down but that is your choice as a team if your record in 2005 was below .500

Also I agree with Rob that a teams objective is to get better and play in the "A" and also get your team to States as well once your an "A" team

Thank you,

Shay
