pain just doesn`t have the talent. y`all need to go recruit. having #7 being your best WR and Hollywood co-signing it, is just all around BAD signs. that kid wouldn`t even be a 4th WR on most good teams. i haven`t seen y`all play this season but according to what i`ve read, it`s much of the same garbage.

So all ill do is let my performance on the field speak I`m done with message board bs cuz honesty I play this game cuz its fun and I love football some guys can`t wait to go out on Sundays and play cuz there living in what they did in there past and some guys need to keep memories just what they r memories

I may be wrong, but I doubt it...
I`ve seen a few of the top squads (except Ligers) play this season, and I gotta say that Pain has the best overall squad. That`s not a popular opinion based on all the hate on here. Other than Cody, nothing really new on offense. The defense seems to have stepped up though. The true measure will be post season play. If they don`t beat themselves, they`ve got a good chance to win the `ship.
Again, I may be wrong but I doubt it!

Every player on my team is a respectable person and player. We don`t talk any trash until someone else starts it. It`s a part of football, you talk trash and HOPEFULLY your play can back it up. After the game is all said and done with, we shake hands and crack jokes. That`s what we do.

Pain has lost some of the older, slower players from their squad and replaced them with 7Pt and a few other younger guys with speed. They are still going to fizzle out this weekend and in the playoffs, though, as their biggest problem is Hollywood. He isn`t effective unless he`s running the ball or has guys WIDE OPEN. If they play a team that can pull flags (like United and Scavs), they`ll make mistakes and stall out on drives. Also they will give up big plays on defense.
Pain is probably the 5th or 6th best team in the league. Not bad at all, but not worth talking about in 40 posts over 5 days in this thread.

I`ll give you that, Cody is a nice pick up and your OL and DL are always top 5 in the league. Thing is you been doing the same **** on offesne and defense for the last however many years and if you look at y`alls record, it`s never worked against the good teams. Wolves, Pitbulls, Collision, United, Lazy, and even ****tier teams beat you guys every year when it counts; in the playoffs. If you are going to ever win anything, it`s on you and not all these other guys that you`ve picked up to do it, cause you are the QB and teams that win ships in the league always do it on the shoulders of the QB.

Believe me, I`ve never claimed to be the best QB in the league. If you`ve followed us thru the years...I play WR and DB. Our QB got hurt, I moved to play QB because I`d played before. I`ve tried to get a QB and it didn`t turn out too well, he broke his finger and shattered his hand the 2nd play of opening day.
I do whatever needs to be done to win, play QB, play WR, throw the ball, run the ball, etc.
Any QB who`d like to try out, let me know. LOL

Pain is off to strong start this spring at 4-0 and the best point dif in the league (and as Hollywood mentioned, you can only play who is on your schedule). What the 4-0 record tells us is still debatable b/c the teams they beat were suspect at best (combined 3-10 record with 2 of the 4 being new).
The hard to ignore fact about Pain is the following:
They have been playing open Spring since 2007. During that time they have had moderate success during the regular season posting a 16-11-3 record and winning 1 division title "BUT" when playoff time arives they have done nothing. They have exactly 1 spring league playoff win to their name and overall they are 1-5 in playoff games (1-3 in A, 0-1 in B, 0-1 in C). Now, the 1-3 record in A is a little distorted b/c all 3 losses were against the Wolves (twice during their championship runs) but facts are facts.
Until Pain does something in the playoffs, the caliber of how good they are is always going to be questioned.

Over the last few seasons you here the same thing about Hollywood not being a good QB. Ole` Noodle Arm, etc... I actually think he`s a pretty solid QB. Who cares if he doesn`t have the rocket arm. I`ve seem him make a lot of good throws and his WRs (mainly Mr. Ath) can`t hold on to it. Painhounds problem in my opinion over the years have been at the skill positions. Most of those guys are just not good and there`s no way around that no matter who you have at QB.
I said that to say, I`d take Hollywood over Slash, who between Sharks and Pitbulls, has been blessed with some of the more talented WRs in the league.

Chuck is a great player which any team in both leagues will take him in a heart beat. But its said to hear these Spartans from the weeknight league throw him under the bus because their ego of how they played or play semi-pro/ex-college ball. Can`t wait for them to play the Firm in the Bark Bowl.

If they play Firm, it will be a joke of a game. they can barely hold their own in our A weeknight league. They`re already getting put in their place. If they`re losing two games or more in the reg season, they will get demolished by Firm, Gunz, DMOB and the other Top A state teams.

Actually, Pain`s defensive scheme change and Hollywood`s qb skills are responsible for their success. You are fools to think they have revamped their O. Hollywood has always had the talent but has recently just started spreading the ball better. Former WR`s Dre (speed) and even Big Smooth (hands) would still be an assett to any team in this league. I`d sign them both tomorrow. Give me their emails. Pain still loses in the 1st round due to manpower issues as usual.
