Top 3 teams in each division make A.
Teams ranking 13-20 will go B.
Teams ranked 21-28 are C

Division winners will get first round bye in A. Shay put it in an older post when everyone was previously asking about it. Here is Shays post:

I sent this to all the coaches and asst coaches last week, this should keep the MB busy for few days.....lol

1- PLAYOFF FORMAT FOR A/B/C PLAYOFFS:

A PLAYOFFS:
(12) teams with the top (3) teams in each division, each division winner will get a bye in the first round you can look at last years bracket for A playoffs for the set up.

B PLAYOFFS:
(8) teams and will be 13th ranked team to the 20th ranked team overall in the league.

C PLAYOFFS:
(8) teams, and will be the 21st ranked team to the 28th ranked team overall in the league.

2-OVERTIME RULE:

There will be OT this year for the regular season for games that are tied at the end of regulation.

It will be (2) serious of penetration from the 20yd line. If the score remains tied after two serious then the game will end in a tie.

In the playoffs it will continue until there is a winner.

Hey Golic, the original format for Shay`s playoff schedule only accounted for 28 teams. There are now 30 teams this season do the extra 2 teams go to the B playoffs (teams ranked #13-22) or to C (teams #21-30)?

Correct the Playoffs are

Top 3 in each division which is 12 in "A"
B will be 13th place to 22nd place 10 Teams for B
C will be 23rd place to 30th place 8 teams.

How the Playoffs break down this season is important for the team that return next fall. We are going to an A/B format in the Fall Season with an A/B/C playoff.

So alot of what happens this Spring will decide who is in the A league and who is in B league next fall.

The top 3 teams from each division aren`t guarateed to be the top 12 ranked teams. So is it basically the top 10 teams that are left are B and everyone else is C?

The top 3 teams in each division ARE guaranteed to be in the top 12 in the league. The 4 winners of each division get a first-round bye while the other 8 teams begin the A playoffs.

The 8 bottom-feeding teams in the league will make up the C bracket. Everyone else will play for the B `ship.

Actually

Mathematically you could end up with something like the Rhinos and Alter Ego in the East winning out and Imposters and Outlaws ending up at .500 and the Rhinos overall would be in the top 12 but still 4th in their division (just an example).

Looks like every team had a 1-2-3 that finished 6-0; 5-1; & 4-2 respectively.

Whoever is complaining about the double header the final weekend there is a doubleheader both weekends if you aren`t a top seed...
