Pens were up 14-0 at half...

Recap?

Didn`t see the second half
Apr 10, 2011 1:10 PM | | ; |
First half was all penetrators. Took a pick 6 back and had a long run after like a 5 yard catch for a score. Wolves looked sloppy, guess they turned it around at half.

Pens up 17 to 7 with with 2:00 minutes, Wolves made plays while the Pens didnt.

|
Wolves..
Apr 10, 2011 1:51 PM | | ; |
They are good at making it all back up in the last two minutes though. That`s why every minute of football counts not just the first couple.

he is still a baller, better than you I am sure...

Yeah...

Pens had it and lost it. Good job by the Wolves.

For real
Apr 10, 2011 6:48 PM | | ; |
if you`re up by 10 with 2 minutes to go, you need to win the damn game.
| |
|
to lose...
Apr 10, 2011 8:28 PM | | ; |
when up by 10 in this league with 2 mins left is inexcusable. the other team only has 2 timeouts provided they haven`t already used one. you have to try to lose to give that away...
| |
|
Perhaps....

The Wolves are a good team that plays to the last second*. It is not like they gave up this lead to the Rebels.
*see homepage.

For real

Whatever. I don`t give a damn who you`re playing, the dude above has it right. If you`re up by 10 with 2 minutes to play, losing that game is inexcusable.
| |
|
I know!
Apr 11, 2011 0:13 AM | | ; |
The Pens gave it away. For example, too many men on the field in the red zone with less than a minute to go...rushing one on the wolves in the red zone...damn... play with some common sense!

The Pens didnt give it away, sure there were a couple of mistakes (mentioned above) however when it mattered the most the Wolves needed to make a couple of key (big) plays when they needed to and they did.

pens are still sort of young as a team they havent learned yet how to close out a win against teams who can come back on you. they should of beat the wolves last time to but gave the game away. pens they are the better team than the wolves right now so its a good learning experiance for them for this to happen so next time they will keep the heat on the whole game and beat wolves by 21 is my predic.
| |
|
My prediction
Apr 11, 2011 8:28 AM | | ; |
Actually, it was the Wolves who did everythig to give the game away. The Wolves are a much better team than the Pens. The Wolves gave the game to them for the first 58 mins. Interception to a D-lineman for 6, interception that bounced of wolves that would have been a touchdown for them, 70 yard run on the first drive. The Wolves played their game for two minutes and still won. Would hardly classify the pens a better team based based on that. The wolves handed the game to them and they still couldn`t win.

it was a good (bad) game by both teams and someone took the W. Both teams are of equal caliber, no need to nitpick

The Wolves and the Pens are the two teams to beat this season. I don`t think anyone will come close.

Question?

Any update on Chester? He went down on Sunday, and it didn`t look good.

Pens are not a team to beat. As for nobody coming close, did`nt Pens only beat Team Hana by 7?
| |
|
Question?
Apr 12, 2011 1:38 PM | | ; |
Were you at the game against the Wolves? Yes, the Pens lost, but they certainly hung with the Wolves. They are solid.

I saw the Ec Lawrence games.
I don`t see why the Pens couldn`t put a serious run for the title together. I think Pain, Scavs, and Wolves are the only other A teams with a legit chance to win this season.
Top 4 teams currently are Wolves, Scavs, Pain, and Pens if you ask me. No specific order.
Lazy will win their division, Truth and Ligers could both end up undefeated in their division. But I don`t think those three teams could win against the top four teams.
I guess we`ll have to wait for the playoffs to figure this out.
| |
|
Yeah right
Apr 12, 2011 2:16 PM | | ; |
Pain doesn`t have a chance in h3ll at winning an A league title. They have the worst set of WRs of any above average team. They might not win another game this season. United, Scavs then playoffs, lol..
| |
|
Question 2?
Apr 12, 2011 2:19 PM | | ; |
Were you at the Team Hana game when they struggled against a brand new team who have yet to win a game?

LOL! It doesn`t matter who they have playing WR, they can`t run deeper than 15 yards if they want ONA (Ole Noodle Arm for the uninitiated) to be able to get them the ball.
Here`s a tip, if you see Pain receivers on a fly route, Woody is running ;)

Doesn`t Pain have some new players?

If you are down playing the Pens/TH game, what are you saying about the Wolves? Give it a rest friend, you must be a TH player who is trying to hype his team.

2 team race

btw Scavs and Wolves. Pens and Lazy might do something if they get a nice draw out of the brackets.
Pain, Truth, Ligers = Pretenders

Well

What do you think about team Hana losing to nemesis

Team Hana is the old Lions team with a couple of players who played rhinos right? I didnt see the game.
I haven`t seen Pain actually play yet this season, but they`re gonna finish 2nd I think. Especially if things keep clicking for them. Their D looks to be better then Scavs since they`re holding the same teams to less points.
Lineman for Pens had his legged rolled up on.

Thanks for the concern. I had my MRI this week and looks like it`s just a tendon sprain and not an MCL tear. Looks like I`ll be playing football again someday.
