Didn`t you say Stone Cold was going to surprise some teams? United is old and slow.....not a good start for Stone Cold!

may be old and slow.. but they are sneaky and organized. These dudes have been playing together for years. They know exactly how to win games in this league

I still think SC is going to surprise teams. It was a good game and the season is still early.

I agree, it`s not like United is some cream puff team that gets run over week in and week out.

Yea but that Indian QB enjoys a cream puff every now and again, BETWEEN HALVES!!!! Pain looked crappy as usual.

Al, maybe I read your OT post wrong, but it`s only one OT. Each team gets one chance to score from the 20. If it`s tied after that the game ends in a tie.

Maybe I misunderstood Shay`s message? He said there will be 2 series from the 20? I thought that meant each team gets 2 chances, assuming the score is tied after the first. But now that you said that, I think you`re right.

I sent an email to all the coaches and head refs, it`s is 2 series, so each team could get 2 chances unless one of the team`s win it in the first series.

This really needs to be made CLEAR to the refs. NONE of the 3 refs at Lake Fairfax knew there is now overtime. One of the Stone Cold players had to show the refs (on his phone) about the overtime.

Thanks for giving me a head up on that!

I agree all the refs should have known, break down in communication I`ll take this hit on that one.

Good news is the head ref called me and let me know about that situation. I emial the head ref for both organizations last night and they should be good to go.

Thanks for letting me know!

Thanks, and was good that the refs listened to the SC player, and allowed for overtime. Refs at Lake Fairfax did a very good job calling the games.

some edumacation. Why SC`s coach needed to pull out his smart phone to show them the rules. Arent they supposed to be the enforcer of rules on the field? If they don`t know the rules, how in the hell are they supposed to enforce? smdh...shay why are you even paying these fools.

I concur. Called a good game or not, officials like to make up rules as they go along. Some refs tell certain teams to stay a few feet (according to their own personal feeling at the time) behind the painted sideline. You look on the other side and the other team is sitting there damn near on the field. So which one is it? If one ref says that`s a rule, all refs should follow that. Lots of these refs like to power trip on the players. Its pathetic.
