03/27 : Wolves blow out Rebels 42-0
Wolves improve to 2-0 on the season, while Rebels drop to 0-1.
This is the most points scored in a game this season by Wolves and the most points scored by a team this season but not in recorded league history (Rhinos beat Team Franchise 56-0 on May 17 2009, 08:00). This is the first time Wolves shutout an opponent this season. Coupled with a win in their previous game, Wolves has now won two in a row.
This is the first time Rebels failed to score against an opponent this season.
This was the first meeting between these two teams.
Next up for Rebels is The Penetrators (1-0). That game is scheduled for Apr 03 2011, 08:00 at EC Lawrence#1.
Wolves will face off against Rhinos (0-0) on Apr 03 2011, 08:30 at Hook Road.

The rules on Two or more D-linemen Laying ontop of the QB still apply? I mean 12 sacks for Wolves was great.. But not a sinlge Ref said a word, thru a penalty. What happened to NOT roughing the QB; before and after the play?

I dunno, you go play in States and it`s like your playing tackle again. Personally I`m all for us playing with a bit more contact and getting used to how they`re going to call things at that level.

agree with that. But it should be clear that the ref`s will not call a thing! Watch and see it won`t be consistant.

Tough it up man, don`t count on the ref`s calling that. You will see some ref`s call it out, but half of them won`t and they will make it harder for your team if anyone at all talks back to them about it. It`s one sided for sure! But Most TEAMS you play against will recognize that they got away with it and try not to take your head off next time.
Start rolling out of the pocket, or get bigger/faster/stronger o-limemen.

We had our QB demolished on a play and the ref said it was the d- lineman`s follow through. On the next series - I get pushed into the other team`s QB and just bumped him and I get the flag. It is the first week , so it is to be expected.
