Say what you want, but we on up and coming...last Fall we won the C ship in our first season, lost the B ship in the Spring, and we are making a push to win the B ship this fall...I would say we are on the right track and right where we are supposed to be. You lames are crazy to say you would rather go 1 and done in the A playoffs than win the B ship....that just means you shoulda never been in the A playoffs to begin with! Who would rather lose in the playoffs than win a ship?...that is the definition of a loser...The funny thing is that all these "anonymous" haters prolly have never won a ship on any level!...Get your trophies up!

Not defending Bundy, but the Truth never played in C. They started in B or Open, can`t remember, in Spring `09. Last Fall they lost in the B Championship and lost in the second round of the A playoffs in the Spring.

Isaac, it took us two seasons (Spring and Fall 09) before we felt like we were ready for A. Spring 09 was our first season, and we didn`t do that well, then we made it to the B championship last Fall.
I`m not trying to put down you or any team in B, I was just relaying my personal opinion. Do I want to go one and done? No way in hell. But, at this point we feel we`ve accomplished all we needed to in B, and consider ourselves an A team and want to play in A playoffs every time. For us, going to back to B regardless of whether we took the trophy or not would be a step in the wrong direction.

Considering there probably will only be an Open from here on out 3-3-1 won`t get you to the A playoffs. Gotta get at least 4. I wouldn`t push things though. The only "quality" win you`ve had this season was against United. The rest of your wins came against B teams.

Haha... I don`t rep my team b/c it`s not important who I play for. All I was doing was stating facts. The Truth made it to the A playoffs in the Open format two seasons in a row. That`s why they belong in A. You all went 0-7 in B last season. You made it to the ship so I commend you on that. This season you only beat B teams. You lost to CN!! Make it to the A playoffs in Open format and then you might be ready to move up.
For the record I`m not a fan of Open format. I think it should be divided into A, B, and C.

How close was the Truth to going in the wrong direction you ask? One point. The Truth made the `A` playoffs by literally one point, edging out the Rhinos in week 4, 14-13. One less point, and the Truth not only would have tied the Rhinos in that game, but also would have tied the Rhinos in the standings, 3-3-1. Going to point differential, which favored the Rhinos, the Rhinos would have been the last team in `A`, and the Truth the first team out. Strong words from Bundy, considering how close the Truth was to the `B` playoffs.

Yes, Stone Cold is a strong (maybe the strongest) `B` playoff team. And they finished the season strong, dropping United on the last week of the regular season. But they lost to Chuck Norris. To make the jump to `A` in this league, you have to win the winnable games. And every game against Chuck Norris is winnable.

I think the championship comes down to Scavengers vs. Outlaws. Does anyone disagree?
I think the Rhinos take the B Championship. Stone Cold makes a run, but no one else will score the points in the `B` playoffs like Rhinos.
I think the Penetrators are the sleeper in the `A` playoffs. Only 2 losses by a combined 9 points. I wouldn`t want to be in their bracket, unless the Carolina Panthers draft the Penetrators` quarterback before Sunday.
I think the vicious hits in the NFL are nothing compared to the vicious hits on the messageboard. And I like it.
I think the only thing better than playoff flag football is a soy espresso triple latte. Then again, I`m an addict.

Hell, I also think the Rhinos are an A team who had some attendance issues this Fall. I`m not going to apologize for beating them. If that`s what it took to get us in the A playoffs, then good. We beat them, not the tie scenario you laid out.

SC runs the B table. Pain could beat them, but I wouldn`t jock the Rhinos too much. Its a huge disappointment for them to settle for B, they have no motivation to win a B title. They screwed up by not having their team show up all year so I doubt they`re too seised to play the B tourney.

Whether The Truth was close to missing the A playoffs, or you believe that they are a B team, at least they are at the table with the big boys. You sir, are clearly on a B team that resents whatever success (and possibly, luck) that The Truth has enjoyed, and you haven`t. You are absolutely right. A team should never be blasted for overachieving and playing up to `A`. You also are absolutely wrong. I never blasted the Truth for wanting to play in `A`. Instead, I just noted how close the Truth was to not making the `A` playoffs (one point). But, they`re in. Let`s see how they do on Sunday.

Because this year`s format was open, I don`t care how you registered. The results on the field show that the Truth is a one point, borderline `A` team. But, they are on the `A` side of that border.
Factoid of the week that may only interest me I: The Scavengers scored nearly as many points last spring (150) as they did this fall (156). Last spring, however, opposing teams put up 142 points against the Scavs. This fall: 21 points, with 4 shutouts and no more than 7 points in any one game. That is why they will take the `A` Championship.
Factoid of the week that may only interest me II: Stone Cold went 0-7 last spring and made the `B` championship (who let a winless team into the playoffs, by the way?). This year, Stone Cold is the top-seeded `B` team, and will likely play Chuck Norris in their first playoff game, and will likely lose, just like they did to CN in week 4. Nice symmetry there.
