06/06 : Stone Cold wins in double OT against Outlaws 21-14
Stone Cold improves to 1-0 in the postseason, while Outlaws sit at 0-1.
This is the most points scored in a game this season by Stone ColdThe victory snapped a 7 game losing streak for Stone Cold.
Coupled with a loss in their previous game Outlaws is now on a two game slide.
Prior to this game, these teams had met only one other time, on Apr 11 2010, 11:30, a IFFL - Reston Spring League "Open" regular season game which Outlaws won 6-0.

Actually the Outlaws choked. It was a good game by both teams.
Outlaws had a chance to win the game in regulation on a last second FG. SC blocked it, but wait. The refs through a flag on SC for landing in the neutral zone. Outlaws got a second chance at the FG and missed.
Before that SC had intercepted a pass and ran it back for a TD, but wait the refs called SC for down field blocking.
I will say that the refs made some interresting calls on both sides of the ball.

I had the privilege of watching this game. And no I dont play for SC or Outlaws. I got to say one of the best games I ever seen in the IFFL league, whether playing or spectating. Full of twists and turns lol double OT, scores back and forth and it came down to a great stop by SC on the last possesion in double OT. Definitely entertaining, lots of emotions. Im sure SC was happy as s*** to finally win a game lol. The way they played I dont know how they went 0 and 7. They have lots of athletes on the roster obviously. Outlaws are lucky to have stayed so close with them. The talent level was horribly lop-sided in favor of SC.

on SC. They can do damage. They working better together this year than last. They might have actually won a few games last year before the playoffs, but they just look like a better team this year. Thats what happens as teams get a couple of seasons under their belt.

First, I meant threw not through.
Second, isn`t this SC`s second season season? "Don`t sleep," what are you talking about.
Third, SC needs to play the white guy at QB, not #10.
Fourth, SC has a solid d-line, but Outlaws o-line was realy small. What the hell happend to Outlaws line?
I haven`t seen the Scavs play this season, but something tells me if the Scavs run the spread and if SC is as agressive up front on D as they were against Outlaws, the Scavs might run right past them.

first of all to say to "play the white guy". Try to be a little more diplomatic. Maturity is second nature on these idiotic blogs. Secondly, from what I know #10 was the quarterback last year and he got them to the championship (yes it was C) but regardless it`s a championship. I watched Sunday`s game too and it was one helluva game. Some serious competitors out there and lots of raw talent. As 1 quarterback to another, #10 keep your head up dawg. You threw a couple picks dont mean you should have subbed yourself out. I commend you for that. It shows maturity and unselfishness for you to have done that. Thats what wins games...Good luck to you and your team in the playoffs.

I don`t play for SC or Outlaws so to me the other QB on SC is the "white guy." I know #10 is their regular QB b/c I`ve seen him play befor. If I knew the other guy`s # I would`ve said it.
I`m sure # 10 is a very good QB, but based on what I saw Sunday I would play the other guy at QB. It`s the playoffs and there`s no time to let one guy or another find his groove. In my opinion I would play the guy with the hot hand. The fact that #10 pulled himself tells me he`s more about team and I commend him for that. There`s a lot of guys who wouldn`t have done that.
Do what you want and we`ll see how it works on Sunday.

Thanks for the ups... A lot of good points and false statements in the above posts...I wouldn`t say we got lucky last year, we were the best team in the division and won the championship game. This year we beat ourselves in a few too many games and went 0 for...but now its playoffs and we are a better team and hungry right now! The Outlaws didn`t choke, we were the better team and found a way to win..no disrespect
I came out and made a few bad throws first half, no doubt...but that`s what`s good about us, we got players that can step up and play any position...
Good game last week fellas...let`s put in that work!!

Coach, I agree that both teams played their asses off and your squad did find a way to win. But I would have to disagree slightly that the Outlaws didn`t choke. After your guys made a hell of play to block the winning FG the Outlaws got a second chance and missed.
Two chances at a game winning FG from inside the 5 and you miss both. I`d call that choking.

You got a good young team who will be good fast. It takes small steps and team bonding to get there but you on the right path. Don`t take anonymos hate to heart cuz its coming from teams who not playing anymore that`s why they so angry and lash out. Stone Cold has the talent to win the A Championship. You heard me right I said A Championship. All they need to do is play as a team and execute. They will be in the A final four next spring mark my words. If they get it together this weekend they will beat the Scavs and then win the B.

Stone Cold vs SCAVENGERS - After going Oh-mygodhowdidtheyloseallsevengames-fer in the weak Sunset West in their inaugural season in Open (that is if you really want to call that division open level competition) the guys from Luke Warm got their first win of the season last week in the opening round of the playoffs, beating the hapless Outlaws in double OT. Go ahead and mark it down as their last win of the season as well. The under-performing SCAVENGERS have the talent to be in the A playoffs, but they just don`t have it together as a team yet. But considering they are made up of players from the newly minted Weeknight A champs Magnums, as well as some players off of Triple Crown and other various teams around the league, they do have enough to `open up a can of whup ass` on Luke Warm come Sunday. Stone Cold loses, I don`t care what the spread is, give the points and that`s the bottom line!
