Why not?

Open East
1. Pitbulls - Reigning Fall champs, until someone knocks them off you have to consider them the favorite, but rumor has it they have lost some key players to Scavengers and the Harrisonburg league, so they could be in for fall early on. However, they have an excellent QB and if CubeBoy is with them again, they`ll be tough. 2. Dietze Nutz - Consistently one of the best teams in the league, They`ve won at least 5 games a season since 2006, and 2 A championships. This is another team with one of the best QBs in the league and a solid pass rush. They`ll win at least 5 again. 3. Collision - Younger team that`s coming on strong after their first season in Open last Spring. This is a team built on speed and intelligent play calling. Their QB has a deceptively big arm and will get at least one big play a game from it. They have a disruptive pass rusher in #11, but after that their defense is a bit suspect.
Those the only three teams worth discussing in that division the rest are heading for the B playoffs.
Open Central
1. Wolves - One of the best teams running, year in and year out, regardless of who their QB is. They have, what a lot of people consider to be, one of the nastiest defenses in the league and an outstanding receiver core. 2. Pain - This is a team that lives and dies by their QB. Hollywood is one of the best running QBs in the league, but the knock is that he has a `noodle arm`. Even so, they`re smart about it and game plan for it. They`ll release their bigs, and those boys always seem to get yardage. Dre is one of the best DBs in the league, and is always a threat to take it to the house when he gets the ball. Don`t test their safety either, he`ll make you pay for it. 3. Scavengers - Based on what I understand, these guys could be #2 instead of Pain, but it`s all just rumor for now. If they`re really a combo of Magnums and Pitbulls they`ll be good. The question is, how good? 4. Banditos - Solid B team that will probably challenge for the A playoffs this season. Very good southpaw QB with a quick release who can make all the throws. Good pass rush and solid flag pullers. The secondary and their speed is the big question mark for this team 5. The Penetrators - Good QB and several good WRs, but their defense is bad. No pass rush and poor coverage.
Open West
1. Lazy Sundae - Perennial powerhouse, these guys are almost always a sure bet. Several solid QBs, a good WR core and a group of veteran players who know how to win. 2. Rhinos - They`re rebuilding, but they`ll still be good enough to make the A playoffs and maybe even win the division. 3. United - They`ll make the A playoffs, but what they do won`t get them far after that. They`re a hitch and pitch team with a quick, elusive QB. Good flag pulling and a disciplined defense will beat them every time 4. Outlaws - They just made the step up to A from B, but their pass rush is usually what makes them effective. Rumor has it though they lost a lot of key players to the Blue Knights.
This is another division where the rest of the teams really just aren`t worth talking about.

I don`t think Outcast or The Truth are worth mentioning, and neither are Blue Knights until we know more about them.

Please enlighten me. What the $#@@ did Outcast , The Truth or Blue Knights do to deserve crap on this board? We all play ball and go to work ( some of us ) the next day. This is what we do for fun and yet some lameball knuckleheads always have something bad to say. Didn`t yo momma tell you that if you ain`t got anything nice to say - keep your trap shut.

I`m not bashing those guys, I just don`t think they`re A level teams, which in my opinion is what we`re discussing here.

Take us out of the top five in our Division!! The way we played today was.... cant even put it in words. We got good players but gotta understand how to play with one another. But until then we are one of the worse team in the A league.

Open East
1. Dietze Nutz - Sounds like the old QB is back, and if so, here`s your favorite to win the league. Best OL in IFFL and everybody can pull flags. Nice to see these guys playing, thought they might fall apart when the QB left.
2. Pitbulls - Reigning Fall champs, but can`t be the faves if the Bum is playing in Harrisonburg and Scavengers got a bunch of their talent. Still going to be a real tough squad to beat, a bunch of vets who know all the "tricks" in this league.
3. Collision - Up and comers who still need to work on getting bigger on both lines to really compete in A. Their pass rush, which is the key to their success on defense, gets completely neutralized by a spread O or a good OL. Maybe the all around fastest team in the league, though, #11 and #99 are matchup issues for almost everybody.
Open Central
1. Wolves - Probably the #2 team in the league behind Dietze mostly because you know they will choke when the game is on the line. Their QB narrowly edges out Dietz for best in the league and they always have a huge group of talented receivers, most notably #9, who is one of the hardest flag pulls in the league. They are a pretty good example of how the spread doesn`t always work on offense, as teams that have speed on the pass rush tend to give them trouble. Still one of the best defenses in the league.
2. Pain - As a whole, probably the team with the most potential in the Spring league. Really big OL, tons of speed, and a good defense that is passive but doesn`t often break. They`ve been in the league long enough now that it`s time to win something bigger than B+, but they tend to fall apart against the same few teams (Wolves, Pitbulls, etc.) that usually wind up in the Final 4 every year. This year can be their time, but they need to put it together every game if they really want it to be.
3. Banditos - Putting them here for now, although Scavengers and Pens might have something to say about that. Great QB and a bunch of vets who know how to win and will be, if nothing else, consistent. Scavs and Pens are probably above them in terms of talent, but I need to see those teams win games against better competition before we put them in the top 3.
Open West
1. Lazy Sundae - Nice group of geriatrics that comes out to throw the ball around on Sundays. Kidding, these guys have been around forever and age numbers are creeping into the late 30s and waistlines creeping into the early 40s but they plan better than any team in the league. Their QB is hot or cold, he seems to either win the game for them or lose it, relying too much on his diminishing speed and his cannon arm to move the team down the field. Defense is not what it once was but still great coverage on the outside. Beat them over the middle where the blitzing linebacker comes from and you can move methodically down the field on them.
2. Rhinos - I guess you have to put them here, even though they are a shadow of what they used to be. Credit to their coach for putting together a team for the Spring, I`m assuming he picked up a lot of new blood off the messageboard and maybe they`ll surprise us. Still way too one dimensional of a team for me, if their heavy inside blitz doesn`t work their defense is too slow to guard most teams and their offense is so plain vanilla.
3. United - To have this team #3 in the division shows how weak it is. Aging group of vets with a quick QB who rarely throws the ball more than 20 yards and will do certain "tricks" to draw penalties when pass rushers/flagpullers get near him. Disciplined and capable of playing with most teams in the league, they will win the games they should win and will have no problem losing the games they shouldn`t.
