There were mulitple times the CN QB had his flag pulled, and the refs didn`t call him down at the spot. Also, a Pass Inter. call at the end of the game, which wasn`t called.
It was a close game that shouldn`t have been decided by the refs and their bad calls/lack of calls....and I don`t play for either of these crappy teams!
Be nice to know where the `regular` refs were on Sunday!

Bad calls went both ways. Several holding penalties went uncalled both sides. There was no pass interference at the end, just two guys going up for a ball and the defense was able to wrestle it away. Don`t try and belittle a teams accomplishments because of "the refs". Just play the game and quit crying.

Toolbag, I don`t play for CN or United. I could care less about the game. However, when the refs play a big part of the outcome of the game, it`s annoying. Those refs were not any of the regular refs. They were terrible, period.
Hopefully those refs are not going to be at the games next weekend.

They let us play. That`s what I like to see for the playoffs. However, there was a sack on the CN QB that went uncalled. I`d probably be pissed about that if I were United lol...

Yeah and if I were CN I`d be pretty pissed that the refs first ruled a TD catch to #21 but then overturned it after the United team got in the refs face and told him the QB was over the LOS when he threw.
A ref should never be influenced by an opposing team making a call.

CN and anyone else who saw it knows they got that game handed to them and did not earn it which is why they were smiling about it and one of them even apologized. I don`t play on United either but they have a right to be pissed.

I was on the CN sideline, and could see he was over the line by 2 yards. Like someone else said, the refs weren`t very good, missed some pretty obvious flag pulls.

Man, I guess if you guys did not have double standards you would have no standards at all. The ref`s blew calls on both sides of the ball. Thats why you never leave it to the ref`s to determine the outcome. If United was so great, they should have destroyed Chuck. Guess what, Chuck stepped up. United lost. Get over it.

If you were on the CN sideline there is no way you could have seen, for a fact, that he was over the LOS by 2 yards. The play happened within the 5 yard line and there was no one passed the 20 yard line on our side of the field. The only people, besides our players, that were anywhere near the field were back at the 50 yard line.
United played a great game, hats off, it just worked out that we won.

There was a few missed calls but the refs did not decide the outcome. We got outplayed and outclassed by the better team. Good luck to CN sunday.

First of all, I want to start this post by saying that CN played great. No excuses about the intensity and composure they showed throughout the game.
Now, the issue with the officials is something that must be acknowledged. I do not understand how you can bring a new set of officials which possibly have no experience to the playoffs. I played in this league for over 8 years and I have never seen these three guys in my life. I played for A, B, C, Fall, Spring, Night, Morning, MD and I have never seen this crew. There were calls that they did not know, ex. loss of down and yards for a pass over the line of scrimmage. They did not know about the loss of down, we had to tell them, therefore comes the part where CN says that we forced their hand to make that call. Flag pulls? CN`s QB was pulled, DB stopped running, ball thrown on a 3rd and 30 with a couple minutes left in the game and it counts, field goal afterward? Referee`s are calling a personal foul on United for a player on the sidelined that had a foot on the field? Then 4 and inches which should of been a first down but the ref thinks other wise. 3 foot pass is thrown, player is well beyond the marker with two feet and ball in his grasp, CN player swings at his hands instead of his flags, incomplete? Those calls made the game, you only get 4-6 possessions. Besides CN passing over the line of scrimmage, there were no penalties called on them.
Bottom Line. TOM, please do not bring some new referee in the PLAYOFFS!!! Those officials were bad and the feeling of losing at the hands of officials is not the right way. United believes in great sportsmanship and we win or lose with respect, but this was wrong.
NOTE to TOM: I will be there for the upcoming meetings, so that my team or any other will not have this type of issue again. By allowing new and inexperienced official to delagate the first round of the playoffs, is disgraceful. CN good luck with the remainder of the playoffs.

For everyone who thinks that United doesn`t post on the message board this is your proof. I watched the whole game as well and both teams played hard.
--I thought they only blew one call and that was when the CN QB got sacked. Your DB was beat on the play not because he stopped running but because he was burnt. The flag pull was a lot closer than you made it seem however it was obvious he was down.
--On the over the line of scrimmage call you got it reversed rather easily; the refs were letting the play finish out but not before some of the United played started going bonkers.
--Your team should know better than to be past the sideline and the 20. Seems like you brought that one upon yourself.
--On the 4th and 1 the United QB threw the ball almost instantaneously to the WR. The ball was thrown high but caught even though he was never able to get complete possession of it because it got batted away after he had his hands on it. What is the CN player supposed to do stand their and let him catch it? The United players started going bonkers again and saying "That`s pass interference he didn`t let my WR catch it".

There was a penalty called on CN when the refs called passing over the line of scrimmage, however, one of the United players (linebacker I believe) got a personal foul penalty on that same down. That is why there as not a loss of down.

United didn`t lose this game because of the refs, they lost because they slept on Norris and Norris showed up to play. Did the refs miss a call or two? Yeah, probably, but that`s not an excuse for losing.

I think a good solution to this is to replay the game sunday before the other games but with the normal refs. I am sure Chuck would agree to do it so they can prove they can beat United in a fairly called game.

YOU lost the game! UNITED get over it! Why not go look in the mirror at yourself and do a self-examination. You remind me of a game 10 years ago when a team went into the playoffs 10-0 vs 2-8 team. The 10-0 team LOST and they blamed the officials after the game. If I remember correctly the QB threw 5 interceptions in the other team end zone. I will admit we did miss calls out there and I do see different then you might on a close play that is to be human. I’m really not sure what you want us do other then make ALL calls go your way. So give credit to the winner and go out as good sportsmanship!

everything you said made perfect sense until "PS:Regular officals were there" ...clearly you werent there, this does not mean I am backing United, they would have lost no matter what. Only one play may have "stopped" CN from winning. The play were the CN QB got sacked but the ref missed the call, it was a 3rh maybe 4th down and the CN QB threw a perfect pass for a 30 yard completion. You cant blame the miss call on the refs because CN QB still had make the throw, the CN WR still had to make the catch, CN then had to score on 3 more additional plays. United should have been able to stop then, they didnt and CN won. Nuff said!!!!!!!!!
