Alan I know you aint trying to talk shiet...you think you big time starting off in the competitive division? You`re in way over your head. I was smart by starting us off at novice because I wanted to get a feel of the league. After having scrimmages with the Rhinos and United, I believe they can vouch that we could hang in the competitive division. Lets see if Lighting can pull a single win this whole season. I see you guys got shut out the first game. I`ll buy you dinner for every game that you win. For someone who talks big but play small...should really not be trying to knock another team for playing in the novice division. I will bet you all the money in the world that my team can CRUSH your team.

I didn`t start novice because winning wouldn`t be thrilling. Playing competitive losing doesn`t matter, and winning is thrilling. I`m not a trash talker, I`m responding to what you guys wrote.
Were things different we`d all be playing together. Andy, I don`t take bets, and I don`t need you to buy me dinner. I eat with my team.
Dean, thanks for showing me cover 2 and 3 on your Dell laptop and playmaker software. I would have played my version of zone coverage otherwise which is simple and applies my pick up experience. But, we aren`t using your cover 2, and 3, we`re using our version. Nothing we`re using was anything you showed me. Otherwise, you`d know our defense, right?
Andy, we`re on separate teams because I don`t want to play football with you. You can`t ignore a post I make, how can we get along for 8 games. Don`t expect me to accept a scrimmage anytime soon from Diesel.
No offense, I like you guys, but we don`t mesh on the same team. It`s a personality conflict.
I hope you have a great season, both of you, at Diesel. How Lightning does in the standings will be our responsibility because we are individuals.
Again, Go Blazers, that was the intension of the original post.

Sounds like to me you’re saying that you are too good to play for novice and winning at novice level wouldn`t satisfy you. That is the silliest shiet I have ever heard. Try playing in this division before you start downing it. I guarantee that most of the team in my division can beat you guys easily.
The reason why Joe, CJ, Corey, Dean, Jason, Kerm, Kody, Abiye and myself (that was almost the whole team no?) left your team because we felt that you make stupid a$$ decisions and say the silliest things. Why don’t you want to play us? A good team will never back down from a game.
Anyways…good luck with your season. It’s going to be one miserable ride for you guys. Your team can blame you for that.

I wasn`t going to start people who didn`t want to come to practice because of the drive. You got some players because your field was closer than mine from their starting location.
Gerry is still playing and he`s fast, and 40. If I listened to you Gerry would be at work on Sunday. I`m glad I stuck with my instincts.

I`ve been in this league for a few years now and seen a lot of new teams who think they are a bunch of hot shots and start off at B and even A divisions. Not a smart move because flag football is nothing like regular football or even back yard football. Most of these teams on the competitive level have been around for many seasons. Andy does make a good point. You`re a new team, slow down. Competing in the C division is not all that easy either.

Lightning represents speed, not slowness, nobody wants to compete in the Novice level. We`re competitive, and I`m sticking with it.

The Coyotes went straight to "A" last fall and beat the Lions, and almost beat Lazy. Of course, that is the exception to the rule.
