How come refs don`t check to see if the player`s who scores a TD has flags that can be removed once he scores

I remember last year my team was playing the Penetrators and their qb had some seriously well connected flags. We grabbed his flags and his whole belt came off before the flags did. The refs had to pull like he!! to get them to come out. They made him change his flags out after that. No penalty though...

Man when we played him he was launching the ball deep. But once we picked him off we realize he was playing with a HighSchool sized ball. Definitely smaller than Official or College.

get checked in other leagues after a player scores. It makes sense if a guy runs into a crowd of 4 or 5 guys and out the other side, maybe there should be a check.

no one cheats, grabbing flags is not an easy thing to do. Unless your being dragged while holding onto a flag then just stop complaining already.

If you think someone has their flags glued in or wedged etc... just ask an official to check it for you. Teams point out pockets on other teams occassionally, so if you really believe a player is wearing illegal equipment (which is what a tampered flag belt is) just notify an official.

I just think all flags need to be checked before the game starts.
just have all players line up across from each other and the refs can walk through and tug on the flags it will only take 2 minutes to make sure no one is cheating.

u are right, how many people in the league believe not one player is cheating? yeah right! yal ain`t that honest somebody in the majors of every sport is taking roids and we aren`t that strict here so somebody here is cheating, I`ve had a belt come off in my hand with the flag and that has been addressed... u know who u are!!!
