How does everyone in "C League" see the playoffs as it looks now?

Question

How many teams go to the playoffs in the Novice divisions? Top 4 from each division? Top 8 from each division?
| |
|
hmm

I think its top 8 from each division but I think it should be top 4 from each instead.

I don`t think any C teams move up for playoffs. It`s 1 through 8 of the East Division vs. 8 through 1 of the West division.
And I belive 9 East will play 9 West in a toilet bowl game.

Do any of you think any of those bottom 5-8 seed teams will be able to win it all?
| |
|
No way

so why even put them in the playoffs? they should just have a toilet bowl playoff

Playoffs are not just throw every equal team in there and see what happens. The NCAA tournament goes 1-16, does a 16th seed stand a chance, no way.
Wouldn`t it be kinda lame to just keep making lower and lower and lower playoffs so that everyone could have a chance of winning? This isn`t preschool.

Can a George Mason alumni chime in to answer the HMMM post. You cant discount a team just because of their record of seeding look at what Mason did reaching the Final Four knocking down some powerhouses to get there. And it was still a competive Final Four.

I see what your saying and its all good. But mason had to atleast win some games to make it into the tournament. You got 1-5 squads making the playoffs?

is still able to find a nut now and then. just because a team has never won, or won very few games, does not mean that lightning will not strike for 1 day. sure, they won`t win it all, but they could knock off a top contender.

to put it in a very diplomatic way ...the novice playoffs is not a question whether a team with a poor record should partake in the tournament; they`re included for the simple reason of what is promised by the league`s commissioner: "With 8 or 9 teams per division, expect a 7 game regular season followed by playoffs for all teams. "

Are structured in all sports before looking at teams records. There could have just as easily been a ton of 4-3 teams at the end of the season. Look at the pro`s...the Cards go to the SB while the Patriots sat out of the playoffs with a much better record. You just have to go with the mechanics and give teams a chance rather than change things around every time based on how good you think the teams are. Besides, a 16 team playoff is alot more fun and interesting and allows folks to play. I just wanna play football...it`s fun...I don`t care who I get to play.

I`ve love to see a lower seed team knock off any of the top 4 teams.
