Rob/Shay/Tom I wrote this on Sunday but didn’t post it because Tom said he was going to e-mail the coaches of the teams involved; BUT I STILL HAVEN`T RECEIVED ANY E-MAILS. So here goes… Here’s the problem: All the way up to 8:50am the rain line said that games were on. I understand that you had no control over Fairfax closing the field, but to just change the rain line at 9:00 am and not call the coaches doesn’t make sense. Most teams I’m sure call the rain line at the first chance they get to find out if the games are still on, probably around 7:30am. I don’t know of any team that would call the rain line back later in the day to check to see if the games are cancelled after already finding out they were on. THE RECORDING DIDN`T SAY CALL BACK. The 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 games coaches should have been called. I counted 15 teams that should have been called. THAT`S ONLY 5 CALLS EACH. If I had been called I would have been able to CALL MY 15 PLAYERS and let them know in enough time not to come all the way to Reston. Also not to follow through on the e-mail wasn’t great ether.I wouldn`t of posted if I at least had gotten the email. You all do a great job running this league. I just think you fumbled this one.
