I got called for a penalty on sunday for taking too much time on a field goal. I took the snap, and took a step to put the ball down, the kicker was in motion to kick the ball, and then the ref blew the whistle. I must not have been more than 4-5 seconds....so watch out, know the rule is out there.

I bet you spent 20 seconds looking for the tee and the kicking ball. The clock is ticking while you`re doing all of that rookie.

After the touchdown, how long did it take you to get lined up for the extra point and actually snap the ball??

According to the refs, you have 5 seconds upon snapping the ball. Maybe you took too long?

In the past, our kicker has been hit with this as well. Come to think of it, our kicker at the time was Al, the current kicker of the Outlaws.
