I`m assuming and hoping most of you rookies are using football cleats. So...1. Make sure when you buy those nice fresh cleats you also purchase some insoles to go along with them. Not the standard Dr. Scholls, but a pair made for high athletic use! This will solve about 80% of the problems out there. 2. Don`t wear long studded cleats! Unless your playing after a heavy downfall. 3. After every game you play take a lacrosse ball and roll it under your bare foot (massage).
