Who has the best defense in the open league this spring season?

Its hard to say who has the best defense. Wolves have only given up 7 points through 3 games, but the teams they`ve played against is questionable. Still impressive though. An argument could be made for Pain. Besides the very first games where it looks like they gave up 19 points they`ve only given up 3 points in the last 3 weeks, including pitching shutouts in a doubleheader today against the fall champs rhinos and team franchise.

Given that the series is 3-0 in favor of the Wolves, I have to give the best D to them. Wolves D manages to hold them to about one score a game. Wolves manage to score about 21 pts. a game. So, if these are the two best Defenses then I would say the Wolves would get the nod. Yea, Yea its a new year, just posting for argument sake. It will all be sorted out come Playoff time.

How can you say their D isn`t top 5, they have 2 shutouts and 3 pts scored over the last 3 games. I am not saying they are better than the wolves, they have established themselves as the best or one of the best defenses in the league. But cmon, give credit when it is due.
