You know there was a time and place when this board would light up with excitement… a time when hits would register about 500 a day…. a time when creative geniuses would delight the masses with witty and insightful commentary. And then I bought a yacht. That’s right peasants… while you were voting for change, complaining about bailouts and looking for jobs, ARG was chilling on the Trinity with Meagan Fox and Leslie Bibb just to name a few (think about it, you ain’t seen them in a while huh?). Anyways, I fight off Somali pirates, brave tsunamis in the Indian seas, and even beat down a few stingrays, just to come back to this?!?!? What exactly is this? “Booty shorts Boy” asking about who is the best dressed? Agent zero mixes up the signs on his point spreads? No more NOVA’s? Chuck Norris plays in ‘A’? And as if that wasn’t enough…. POSTING LINES ON THE NOVICE DIVISION!!! What the hell happened, did the WNBA fold?!?! Well I’m back now peasants… ready to take this messageboard back to the glory days. I’m calling all the old dogs and new pups to put some fire back into this board. Now I’m trying to piss off you new kids… I think there is a lot of talent out there that just bears my attention. At this point, I haven’t soaked any of that up yet, so I’m going with what I know – teams that kick it ol’ school. Just like if the Cowboys played the Cardinals years ago, you’d take the Cowboys. And if they played today, you’d take the Boys again!! Logic like that never changes….. hold on, I just got a twitter… What?! Arizona was in a superbowl. THEY ALMOST WON?!?! Kurt Who… I gotta get a better satellite system on the Trinity. But still, you new kids gotta get it together. Get yourselves a name, then get yourselves some game, next will come fame. That’s my story. Learn it, love it – LIVE IT. Anyways, still sticking with what I know… and my old friend Sheri-baby’s lines… here’s the exclusive members only, players club, gold card, platinum-plus, privileged information, insiders edge, 5-star, master lock of the week: Sharks (-14.5) Playmakers - Fresh out the box, I’m going Maryland on you. Sharks are looking to debut in typical fashion and the poor Playmakers are once again just a good team in an elite division. Sharks cover the number in this one going away. Playmakers didn’t find the offense last week putting up only 7 on Trick 1… (who?)… And I don’t expect them to suddenly find more on an always talented Sharks ‘D’. Sharks offense will do their usual damage in this one and this won’t ever be closer than 3 scores after the coin toss. Take the Sharks giving 14 and the hook. Well that’s it peasants.. next week I’ll take a look at some of the JV teams and should have a more comprehensive analysis.
