Who are the darkhorses in the league? Who are the teams that could be good? It can;t just be lazy and Rhinos every year.

maybe Baditos but they tend to not do so well on Sundays. However, Central is not that strong so who knows. TF, no way. Outcast palys in A or Open evey season, not a darkhorse. Hokies could make some noise but their division is TOUGH.
I would look at MS, Banditos, and the Midgets or Nighthawks.

is way stronger than central. Central only has two decent teams. West is stacked from top to bottom. Only weak teams are CN and MS.

In my opinion west is the weakest division. They only have one team that even has a chance to win it all and that`s the wolves. The rest are middle of the pack teams or less. Central has defending fall A champ, fall B+ champ and fall B champs. If you look at the past match ups in this division Pain has defeated rhinos badly the last two games, Mutiny has beaten Pain, and Rhinos has history of defeating both teams. Sounds like the best division to me.

Before they say it. Yes, they did beat Pain last fall but... Pain beat them in the spring. Not to mention PKL didn`t make it in the playoffs when Pain ran the gauntlet. Not that I care about Pain but they look like the only true bragging right PKL has. Now, someone answer since`s question.

Consider 3 B+ teams

Pain B+ champs from fall, United and PKL both B+ division winners. PKL beat Pain in their regular season meeting and Pain beat United for the title in the playoffs. PKL went to the 3rd round of the state tournament losing to eventual champion and IFFL "A" team Magnums, while United made it to the final 4 and also lost to Magnums. The only thing to say about these teams is that they are all good B+ level teams. Unfortunately all of these teams will probably have good enough records to qualify for A playoffs, where I don`t think any of them can win it all. The crown will likely be worn by one of our elite A teams...Wolves, Dietz, Lazy, or Rhinos.
Last word,
United is probably still the best (and oldest) of these teams. They had a stellar performance in the state tourney and only lost to Pain after losing their QB late in the championship game. Like it or not, losing the guy that plays QB for you day in and day out is a huge deal in flag football. United is also 2-0 against PKL. The large difference between these teams is the age. United and Pain have a lot of older guys while PKL is extremely young...last time I talked to their guys the oldest one was 25-26, which is infancy by IFFL standards.

Is talking about how old the so called "elite" teams of A are. All of those B+ teams besides United are younger than those A teams. Of the 3 B+ teams Pain is the best. They are built to compete with anybody and they are only getting better with the improvement of their QB. They are dangerous. Plus any team with Mr. T as their mascot has to be tough..

My QB has a noodle arm, my top receiver is a smurf and I`m the heaviest receiver in the league. We were total flukes last season and PKL owns us as does Chuck Norris and those tough guys Wolfpack.

Pain was 4-2-1 as their Fall `08 record. You could say they had a rough season and only can to play for the playoffs. Possible? Much like Triple Crown in the weeknight league. But to say they are the best B+ team off of one season?

The Truth, there not gonna be great i`m thinking. I have not seen them, but i hear they have some former P Squad players and some other vets from other teams, and old teams.
