Is the registration still open or are you booked?

Dear Mr. Tom

It appears League fees have gone up considerably, is FFX County killing us for field use? Could you give us a breakdown of where the money goes. You can break it down by team contribution or overall teams combined. Thanks for your cooperation.

I believe fees have gone up just like everything else. We have good fields in this league along with a good commissioner. Here is your breakdown where the money goes. You pay the fee so your team can play and it should be a simple as that.

you`re a BIG DUMBY and this was addressed to TOM not YOU. With your way of thinking you will pay throgh the nose for everything in life. I hope I can sell you some great waterfront property in the Everglades. Anyway, Tom your answer would be much appreaciated.

Thanks in advance.

It`s waterfront property in Arizona or any other land locked state. The even though it`s a swamp the Everglades still water. Not the most desireable but still waterfront.

they do

have alligators and panthers in the everglades, but 99% of us agree that the guy who stated "you pay the fee so your team can play and it should be a simple as that" is a moron.

I dont think hes a moron. What he said is right, pay to play. Dont ask Tom for a balance sheet run down of how the money is spent you D BAG. Do you ACTUALLY think he would do that anyway? If its too expensive, dont play. It`s that simple.

this is BIG DUMBY

I wouldnt buy any swamp land anywhere. Whoever i would understand that fees might go up as stated before. And not expect a hardworking commisioner to explain to me all the cost in the league. If I want to be a part of something I research it myself and look at the value of it. We have good fields along with a well run league. Also i believe you spelled DUMMY wrong!!!!!!

That`s OK...

you used "whoever" wrong. You should have used "however". DING.

You misplaced the period in your second sentence. The period is supposed to be inside of the qoutation marks.

Incorrect:
You should have used "however".

Correct:
You should have used "however."

Before you call someone else out, make sure your grammar and punctuation is correct.

yeah well

This thread is officially closed down due to repeated offenses against the english language. I would have liked to post much earlier in the thread but could not due to the uncontrollable laughter at the term "Dumby". Hahaha. Ding.

You know the fees beforehand. If it`s acceptable then play, if not then don`t sign up. It cost less than $10 a game per person. It`s not like he`s pulling a bait and switch at the end of the year. Do you go into Best Buy asking them why the PS3 cost $399?

BIG DUMBY-

Thank you. Paying around $10 a game every Sunday with referees and good competition really doesn`t sound bad. And Tom shouldn`t have to answer especially with all the work he has on his plate. A regular job and running a league that he has to coordinate with county officials for permits to get field space. Come on let`s give him a break so we can get this season started!!!!!!!

Simple

Then don`t play, league has been running fine for years, always one ass hat that gets on here and questions where the money goes. Wah wah, hmm, lets see, refs, field permits, tropheys. I can only guess what it cost to get permits for Pop tree and Hook, oh wait, I didn`t see BC in his post, maybe because he is trying to get us the better of the playing fields. Get over yourself and take your money to co-ed somewhere in Arlington.

yup

"Dear Mr. Tom" got murked! Don`t ever question the league again!!

There was a breakdown of all the money for the league before. Tom barely, if any, gets any profit from the league as everything in the economy has gone up, plus he has to deal with a bunch of cry babies like you who whine about fees. Please join another league if you want to complain about the money.

From the FAQ

$760 is outrageous! you guys are making a killing

officiating: $120/game
fields & insurance: $130/team
awards & shirts: $2,000/league

3 guys who do websites, field lining, game photos, admin & organization for the league + work full time and have families complaining about the time they put into this? priceless.

Enough said. You are not forced to play in this league.

Guess What

I have been working with Fairfax County to reserve a field for a year. They processed the registration form but they would never get back to me with what field I could use. They are a bunch of slow ***`s! I am grateful that Tom and the IFFL staff are putting in for us GOONS! I will pay them to do my dirty work any day of the week! THANK YOU TOM AND STAFF!!!!
