ANNOUNCEMENT:

;
Coaches,

Nothing major, but a few rule differences to be aware of for your games tomorrow:

1) there is no "taking it at the 20". All scoring is followed by a kickoff.

2) 3 timeouts per half, game clock is a running clock which stops at the 15 min mark for quarters at which point teams switch field sides.

3) Fields will be 80 yards. The way this will be accomplished on our 100 yard turf fields is to mark the back of the endzone for one side of the field as the 10 yard line, with the 20 yard line being the goal line. For FGs and kicked extra points, teams advancing towards the shortened side will have the ball spot moved forward 20 yards prior to the kick.

#2 clarification

There are two, 25 min. halves with a the clock only stopping for timeouts and 15 min mark side change.

Going out of bounds in the last 2 min. doesn`t stop the clock, correct?

the refs told us during our game today that on extra points and on snaps from the center the ball can bounce one time. It happened in the game before us on an extra point. If the ball is snapped over the qb`s head though and bounces it`s dead.
