If the Sharks finally show up they can beat Firm. Watch for the score of the first game. If Sharks struggle in the first game its a sign they are 1 and done or 2 and done. If they win convincing it means they are ready for Firm and it will be a barn burner.

TC wont have all of those players...i think its stupid to go a whole year and play together and then when its states time leave leave and go play with thier other teams you set yourself up that way. Hope its not the case with TC

We had players miss games here and there during the season. We play with what we have and others need to step it up. We will be ready to play this weekend. Best of luck Mike with the Wolves.

Good luck to all of the NOVA area teams.

Just my opinion...

To all of the Northern Virginia `A` Teams, best of luck tomorrow. To begin with, much of the State tournament depends on not only talent, skill, and desire but the seeding of teams. This weekends tournament will be no different.

The Wolves probably received the most difficult first round matchup as they will play the Hurricanes-VB. The Hurricanes have too much speed and athleticism for the Wolves. The Wolves will be one and done tomorrow.

The next team on the board are the Novas. If the Novas are able to defeat P-Town Hustlers (last years runner-up in the B bracket), they will have a very, very slim chance of defeating D-Mob.

The Sharks play Game Breaker and I have no idea how good they are. Assuming the Sharks defeat GB, their match-up against the Firm will be too much for them too handle. The Sharks will not get past the Firm.

As for Lazy Sundae, their first round match up is against a very good team from the Norfolk area by the name of Good Brothers. If they defeat Good Brothers, I doubt if they get passed Triple Crown.

Triple Crown for some reason (luck of the draw) received a first round bye. They will play the winner between GB and Lazy Sundae. Assuming TC defeats the winner of the GB/LS game, their path to the Championship will be rough as they would then have to play D-Mob. Triple Crown is a very good team and they run the same style of offense as D-Mob. But, D-Mob has too much experience for TC.

So, assuming the matchups break down the way I predict, Triple Crown will move the furthest through the brackets thanks to their bye. However, I do not see any of the Northern Virginia teams winning more than one game tomorrow. I hope that I am wrong.

Again, good luck to all teams.
