ANNOUNCEMENT:

;
C coaches:

Here`s a heads-up for 11/9 and beyond.

Ideally, I would like to play both the quarterfinals and semifinals on 11/9:

#2v#7, #3v#6, then winners play
#4v#5, winner plays #1

With the rainouts and bye weeks in C, I do not want any teams (in this case the #1 seed) to have to sit out an additional week.

Then, on 11/16, we`ll have the C Championship game, along with the C tournament semifinal(s) and C tournament Championship.

If the #1 seed loses to the 4/5 winner on 11/9, then the #1 seed will have the option to play (on 11/16) the loser of the 4/5 game in a C tournament semifinal prior to playing the winner of the (2/7 loser) vs (3/6 loser) semifinal.

If the #1 seed beats the 4/5 winner, the 4/5 loser advances to the C tournament championship.

I am working on consolidating field space for 11/16, since while we maintain PT#2 through 11/23, we lose PT#3 on 11/16 but still have Braddock Park#7. I am looking to swap those fields out for 11/16.

Any chance someone can clear this up? Are the playoffs double elimination? What does he mean by C Championship game and C Tournament Championship both being played on 11/16?

I think if you get knocked out in the first round of the playoffs you play in a seperate tournament. This is to make up some of the games due to weather. Regardless, the actual playoffs are single elimination.

For C, the 9/7 postponed games are added to 10/26, and the C playoffs will start 11/2 with the #1 seed getting a bye and the other 6 playing quarterfinals.

FIRST ROUND C LOSERS will drop to a consolation bracket (keep in mind we guarantee 8 games and C only play 6 regular season games).

On 11/9 C semifinals (both consolation and championship bracket), and on 11/6 championships.

I believe he wanted to say 11/16 not 11/6.
