I Don`t See the Difference between MOST of the A, B or C teams. The athletes on C & B are just like the guys in A and vice versa. The only difference is most A teams have been playing for years. I would put the top C teams against the mid to top B teams any day. I would move to have all teams play in one league and have a North, South, East & West Divisions. Prove me wrong!

Suck! They each have about 8 teams in their division. The B League has 20 teams and this is where the competitive nature flourishes.

i bet

if 2 teams from B stepped up to A the would finish last.... Thats why people do not do it cause its harder than you think you will get smashed

the top 10 teams in the B League could beat the Wolves, Vegas Nights and Goin Deep any given Sunday.

I am pretty sure that you are not on one of the top ten teams. Because if you were you would not be talking bad about the wolves or vegas. Dont be fooled by their 1-2 records. The top ten teams do play A in the fall or end up in the A playoffs, and get owned.

The A division is no joke. Every game is a big game and these teams have been around for a long time and have been consistently competitive. To say the A league sucks is just plain idiocy. each of the 8 teams brings it every week. We wanted more teams in A and I`m sure they ( B trash talkers)could have gotten in if they truly WANTED to.

Please bring your weak linemen and noodle armed QB`s up from B to A. Just be prepared to lose on a weekly basis, and you should enjoy yourselves. You may even learn how to play the game at a competetive level instead of doing all your talking on a message board!

Funny....

If you read this message board, then you know that I hate when A players trash the rest of the league.

That being said, the original poster of this message is on crack.. you are right in that the athletes in C and B may be comparable to those in B and C.. but that`s where it ends. Receivers may run the same 40 times and Linemen may bench the same.. but they know the game and know eachother, big difference. That`s why they are better.

"Noodle Arm"`s post still makes him a loser though...acting like the a hole he is.

Check out the A teams when they playoffs come around, much different teams than the regular season. No ringers but the full roster usually come out when the playoffs begin.

Agreed, A is played at a much different speed than B, its insane. As stated in an earlier post, those guys have played together for a long long time and know each other well, and thats what it comes down too.

From what i`ve seen the biggest difference is simple knowledge of the game. Flag football is not brain surgery yet i continue to see B and C teams return kickoffs to the 21 (thus first and 19)...accept penalties that will give them 1st and 17 as oppposed to 2nd and 5, etc.

Also, flag is a finesse ding and dunk game...if you ran a 5 and turn around on every play and complete every pass (4 downs x 5 yards = 20 yards and a first down) you`ll move right down the field. Too many times teams try to throw 50 yards bombs.

Understanding down and distance, understanding where you are on the field and simply completing passes is all you need to do in order to be successful in flag football. I`d also say other than the QB the most important player is the center - having a center that can rifle the ball back to a QB who is 10-12 yards back is a huge asset.

Just my two cents...

Differences I have seen

Athletically, you are right there is no REAL difference... The difference lies in the game... You watch a B and C game you will see a bunch of missed flags, blown coverages, dropped balls and pretty much offenses that strive on the QB running around LOOKING for an open guy... MOST A teams are excellent flag pullers, they execute on offense and defense CONSISTENTLY and they utilize a game plan in order to put points on the board..

In addition, I have noticed that GOOD A teams have the ability to make adjustments to their gameplan to put them in a winning situation... I have seen B and C teams try the same offense and defense scheme OVER AND OVER with the same result... You have to be able to first recognize your weakness and then second, know how to fix it or make it less exploitable. Most C and some B teams don`t have clue on how to do either of these things..
