has there ever been thought of having an all star game between the divisions? say each team send 1 or 2 people representing their divsion. Then have the north and south vs central and west?
Maybe we`ll get a chance to play with some of the ish talkers we go up against each week?

Would be nearly impossible to decide on players. The league is full of guys who have a slightly higher opinion of themselves then the rest of us. Also, there would be a bias based on quality of teams. There was a C League team a few years back that actually had an-ex NFL receiver who played for them, but somehow I doubt players like that (from low profile teams) would get the same chance...it would be "A" league dominated
then again, it is just for fun.

if a team`s coach selects their top 1 or 2.. players should step up their game and prove they belong amongst the elite. if not, im sure there will be plenty of room on the sidelines to watch or hell with it..
lets do a battle of the gridiron.. haha
QB Challenge - for the Q`s
Kick Accuracy - for the Kickers
Fastest Man - for whoever
Hands Competition - for whoever
Smallest Teammate Toss - for the Linemen

This is how you would do it. You have each coach list their players at each position and submit it to the commish. The commish would then give the list of all the players at each position and their team (like they do in the MLB, NBA and NFL) to all the coaches to give to their players. The players and coaches would then individually vote for two players at each position. You would not be able to vote for someone from your own team. The players would then give their individual votes back to their coach who would then submit the vote back to the commish. The commish would then have the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche (HAHA)tally the votes. The players with the top two votes from each position would paticipate in the all star game.

each coach from A-B pick top 2-3 players, league selects 2 coaches, players do a try out, and coach selects who plays who warms the bench and who sits in the stands..

Let`s not get off track with all the Lions BS. This could be a productive, useful thread for Tom. If not used this year then next year. Hopefully it can be implemented this year. I don`t think it should be the the league champ against the all-star team. I think it should be the best players selected by their peers.

Most of us know our divisions real well...we could field division teams, then have cage match/battle royale. Lots of $$$$. Chicks holding up cards. Pay per view.

lets put all our ego`s aside.. and play the all-star game for a charity. donate money for every touchdown scored, field goal kicked.. etc.. we`re all out here to have fun, the only ones out here getting paid are the refs.. no one`s got a shoe contract.. so.. we might as well just play for the love of the game and get along for one sunday..

no chance of getting a legit all star game. its too hard to identify which players are worthy considering you only see teams in your division, and most of the time you arent even paying attention to which of their players should make such a team.
