Here`s what I`m thinking since this is the first time we only had seven C league teams...since I`ve been around.
Let`s keep the top six C teams for playoffs, take the bottom four B teams left out of B and B+ playoffs and play those four for wildcard spots in the C playoffs. Let the winners of the two wildcard matches fill the last two C spots. Obviously the C team ranked seventh is out of luck and won`t play any games.

I like it. Why is no one commenting? Based on the current recommendation, here are the teams that should play for wildcard positions in the C league:
17 Midgets 0 4 0 21 73 -13.0 0.000 18 Nighthawks 0 3 0 6 46 -13.3 0.000 19 Grand Hustle 0 4 0 12 104 -23.0 0.000 20 Acid Reign 0 4 0 21 118 -24.2 0.000
...and as far as the C leagues look, Rude Buhda may be the only team to drop. The C league playoffs would look like this
1 Team Beer 2 0 0 31 12 9.5 1.000 2 Grasshoppers 1 0 1 20 14 3.0 0.750 3 Jawbreakers 1 1 1 46 38 2.6 0.500 4 Shaolin Monkeys 1 1 0 7 7 0.0 0.500 5 Brass Monkeys 1 1 0 27 28 -0.5 0.500 6 I of the Liger 1 1 0 14 28 -7.0 0.500 7 Midgets vs. Grand Hustle 8 Nighthawks vs. Acid Reign
...and then obviously 1vs8, 2vs7, 3vs6, 4vs5...

This is assuming B league playoffs are scheduled as Tom stated earlier, top 4 from American and National go to B+ while 5-8 go to B playoffs.

Not a bad idea, but I`m against punishing the C teams by not allowing them all a shot at the playoffs. C is for development, and that should mean playing as many games as possible, including postseason. Instead, why not reward the top C team with a bye?

I like the Top 4 from each B division going into a B+ playoffs and 5-8 in each going into a B playoff.
And I agree with Steve, C should be left alone and let them worry about their own division. The teams in B knew what they were getting into and if they don`t make the playoffs, then they don`t make the playoffs.

i dont understand why the bottom of the b division is rewarded but the bottom of the c would be dropped out of ther own division and be out of the playoffs. i think a better idea would be:
1=bye 2v7 3v6 4v5
problem solved. im with steve, we should leave c alone and let them develop

With Steve, Tom has already covered this, no B team will drop down and play in the C playoffs. Also, thats an insult to have a B team to drop down and play in the C playoffs, no matter what their record. And how stupid is it to have been a B team and play for a C league trophey? Good points though on they knew what they were gettig into when they moved up to B, you make it you make it, you dont then you are out, plain and simple

Just keep 3 playoff brackets. A playoffs, B playoffs, C playoffs. Quit being whiney biatches because you think one of the top b teams will smash you.

There should be a B+
United and Diesel already won B, why win B again?
Teams like Mutiny, Pain, Diesel, United, Penetrators should definitely be in B+

started this post, you are an idiot. Whoever came up with some of the retarded suggestions, you`re all idiots. "Why don`t the NFL have an A division and a B Division because it seems that the AFC always wins the Superbowl except last year which was a fluke!" If you are in B, stay in B, don`t try and ruin someone elses division for the benefit of your inferior team. If B is to tough, drop to C or recruit better talent or just stay home. Do yourselves a favor and Quit being a victim.

You`re the tard! NFC 22 AFC 20 not to mention the 13 straight NFC wins from 85-97. Statboy says "do some fact check before you open your mouth next time"

I of the liger should not be in C. They`re not a brand new team. They`re just as new as TA or GH. Both of those teams are only in season 2 as is Liger.

Teams like

Diesel should move up to A? If you win a championship at one level, you should automatically move up to the next level.

that should be a duh type thing and in my opinion Tom needs to be stricter in the enfocement of rules like that, bc its pretty weak to have teams drop just to have a better chance at a trophy.

We joined a league that has a commissioner and rules. Let`s let them be the judge of who plays where since they have the experience. Teams that join have the choice of where to play and I commend Liger for going down to C and trying to improve their team. And others teams have made their choices and should live with them. If it wasnt the right one try to make it right the next season.

I see you stopped at 97, why would you do that? Was it because the AFC has dominated for the past 10 years with royal beatings?? Anyway, you clueless little sheeet, as usual you miss the point. So please do yourself a favor as the "weak link" of your team, stay home or drop to "C".

AFC has been 8-3 since 97, but with an average margin of victory of only 9.8, pretty close by NFL standards. Now the NFC 13 straight from 85-97, with an average margin of victory of 20.8, that`s an ass whooping especially considering in those 13 years only two games were even close. With victory`s like 55-10, 52-17, 46-10, 42-10 and the list goes on...
97-08 8-3 AFC 9.8 average margin of victory 85-97 13-0 NFC 20.8 average margin of victory
once again check yo facts son!

if I was as old and grumpy like you and worried about gettin` my butt whooped by every team in the IFFL, I would do as you do by beggin Tom to let your team drop down to "C" so you have a shot at loosing to a "C" team.
