Not sure what happened to the thread, but I felt compelled to respond: Everything I said makes sense; I can’t help it if you don’t understand what I said. My point: It’s hypocritical to suggest that teams should be forced to “merge” because they haven’t developed to the caliber of a seasoned “B” league team in the first THREE games of their FIRST season in “B” (notice how I capitalize the key words and phrases to further emphasize my point). The ENTIRE point of “B” is to develop from a “C” team into a team that is ready to move up to “A;” a feat impossible to achieve after only three games in “B.” (Let me know if you need me to slow down – because here comes the kicker…) The mere point of suggesting such a thing would only REFUTE what you are ACTUALLY SUGGESTING (thus starting a never-ending loop of stupidity). If you force three sub-par teams, WHO HAVE BEEN UNDERPERFORMING DUE TO LACK OF COHESION, into a situation where they will need to ADAPT EVEN FURTHER, it would yield a worse situation than what you had at the beginning. Forcing three un-gelled, undeveloped teams to RE-gel and RE-develop would be a step backwards because they would fall into the same traps as they did before they were merged and would theoretically never bond into one team. The ONLY way to get better is to play, practice, and continue to improve (like all the teams before us) to gain the cohesion necessary to be a more competitive team. If you keep consolidating all the teams that “= suck,” you will be left with a perpetual “suck-filled” bottom of the “B” division. Also, I would like to add, that we did not move up into “B” under our free-will. We were forced out of “C” into “B,” when we were arguably not ready. Had we been given the CHOICE, I think the outcome would have been the same. But I wanted to point that out, as many of you seem to think we needed to “work our way up;” which we did via the rules of the league.
