Tom,
Today the 12:40PM game at Hook Road with the Penetrators and Goldrush was stopped with :40 plus/minus seconds on the clock in the first half. The score was Penetrators (14) vs. Goldrush (13). Goldrush set to kick off to the Pens.
Long story short, we were pushed off the field because of permit issues. What`s the deal with this game? Is it going to be made up?
We walked off the field with a lot of unhappy players on both sides. This is the first time we had to stop playing in the middle of the game so I thought I`d get the word on it right from you.

Tom,
I agree with the Penetrators Coach. We had some confussed and upset players from both teams!
I guess the main thing that came up, was there a field permit for us to play the 12:40PM game? And if so, why is Fairfax giving field permits out to 2 different organizations, knowing 1 organization will have to leave!
And if there was no permit for the 12:40 PM game! Why were we playing the game @ 12:40 PM, knowing we would not get to play the full game anyway and we would have to leave the field by 1 PM.
Everyone was confussed and as coaches we need to explain to our players on what and why it happened! Any help from you in this would be greatfully appreciated by both sides and any other teams that may face this same issue in the future!

Read the posts of the coaches. A game was scheduled at 12:40pm. This would be fine if we were not kicked off the feild at 1pm.

I realize it was probably some type of miscommunication, but honestly that was some BS! I don`t understand, the other fields latest game started at 10:20 and Hook Rd had games start at 11:30 and 12:40. BTW, why are the championship games held there anyway? That field sucks!
It makes no sense to me. Hopefully we won`t play there again.

To Conspiracy:
We didn`t pay the refs to call the game, we paid them to eject the best players on both teams during the weeks we play them. Dayum it...deal gone bad!!! I want my money back.

This is a Reston Association issue. Our permit was extended until 2:00 PM this Fall, evidently they also issued a permit to soccer starting at 1:00 PM. We`re not going rock the boat over this - we`ll just stick with 4 games at Hook.

Forgot to add...Goldrush is playing at BC#1 now at 10:20, the C game is moved to 10:20 at Hook.
At 11:30 at BC#1 (after the Goldrush/Mutiny game), Goldrush/Penetrators(who are playing at 9:10 at Hook) will play the final seconds of the first half and then immediately the second half of the game.
