I just play for a real team that looks at, analyzes and scouts the teams that we are going to play. My team is undefeated. Your team obviously is having a sub.500 season and must have lost by a forfiet. So of course it wouldn`t matter to you. Your team needs to start preparing for the Bark Bowl. Maybe you`ll have some luck there.

If you don`t think that knowing if your upcoming opponent had a shut out in it`s last game is important, then I REALLY feel sorry for your team because YOUR probably the MAIN reason they are having a sub par season.

dear mr.anal-yzer...that same team might have won 28-0 if not for the forfeit. my point is a forfeited game tells you very little otherthan the teams didnt play

Um, why cant anyone ask a simple question without getting barked at? The cogitators of the league do indeed like to know because if the "0" is a defensive shut out, you sure have learned something. If you get lucky, the game summary will mention whether it was domination vs. the other team only having 7/lost the qb to injury/ etc. Some people are the "just play your game" types, which is great...some people like to look for advantages and hurdles...which is great. Do you think Parcells calls Belichek an "over anal-yzer"? To each his own!

you bet...the more anxious I am about a team, the more likely I will scout, email friends, etc. and find out how they achieve their success. Our team is very flexible and change change its approach accordingly...I am not knocking the "just play your game" approach at all...to each his own.

Nah, this was for the guy on this thread that stated who cares about whether a team had a forfiet win or not.
