Yeah, if you know anything about this league, then you know we were one of, if not the worst team in the league. Bottom line is that we know that.
We are looking for anyone deditcated to showing up consistently to practice and the games. We are going to have an open competition for starting positions for the fall league.
We had a huge problem with getting people to show up to practices/games in the spring, which was a big reason for how bad we played. I`m looking for guys who WANT to play football, love it, etc...because they are more likely to show up.
We plan on playing in the `C`/Novice division (whatever you want to call it). The plus of playing for us is that if you`re good then you will likely win a starting position. The negative is that we weren`t very good in the spring....but that can change with the right additions.
Our biggest problem in the spring was our oline and dline. That`s our top priorty. But if that isn`t your thing it doesn`t matter, we are still looking for other positions as well.

It`s tough to keep a team together when you have a losing record. A few seasons back we were the worst team in the league and according to some people on the message boards today, we still are the worst team in the league. Don`t ever get discourage, just have fun with it. Best of luck to you guys.

Like Diesel, I know what it`s like to be at the bottom. Last Fall we were in much the same situation you all are in. I/ we were fortunate. We had 5 guys that were committed to playing. Those 5 are still on the team. I was also able to get a bunch of quality guys to join us. We went much the same rout it sounds like you are taking and were able to finish #2 in C this season. We had a disappointing end to the season but, we look forward to the challenge and fun of competing in the Fall B league.
You`ve seen what it`s like to play against some of the best teams this league has to offer. It`s a lot easier to build a team while you are winning than it is while getting killed. Good luck.

They won the B ship last season and did pretty well in the A this season despite one bad game.
2. You did not finish 2nd in the Novice. Midgets finished 5th.

He means that Diesel has also finished at the bottom during a season, not last but I think 2 seasons ago.
When he says 2nd he means for the regular season.

It`s hard to win if your hearts not there. Some of us take losing harder then others but if you`re competitive then it should effect you in some way. I don`t know if your team just accepted things for what they were worth this season but it shouldn`t be a reason why your laughing and joking while your getting demolished. Hopefully dude you can get some swagger in the C league and pick up more players who are serious about the game. Goodluck!

thanks to all who had constructive criticism. And yes unibomber I am competitive and it pissed me off seeing people just joking around and not really trying.
Don`t get me wrong, I`m out there to have fun, but there has to be a balance of fun and wanting to win.

hopefuly you have a solid core group of 5 or 6 guys. use them to help bring guys to the team. that way everyone has a little something invested in the squad. everyone an allstar on the free agent list.

If you guys are looking for some great players and i seriously me great, then here`s what you do. Call 1-800-LOST OVERRATED PLAYERS. There a great service, let me give you a little run down if i may. First they had the best shutdown corner in the game to date.Second they hand a receiver that could win games all by himself, you just have to throw the ball to him 90% of the time and if it`s a close game then 100%, that`s the only way you`ll win, and if by some chance you don`t win well it`s not his fault he can`t do it all by himself. Third they had a center, and let me tell you this is very special people he was an all area high school player and had d1 schools knocking at his door, but he turned them down i think he thought the nfl was going to come straight after him. Fourth thing plenty of beers before and after the games people, u know there`s nothing better than a pre game brew or two. So remember folks 1-800-LOST OVERRATED PLAYERS. You`ll be glad you called, you`ll have a automatic "c" league trophy and medal around you neck in no time.
