Chances

Chances are it will be around 7-10 points. Only because the A team will be playing around while the C team will be more serious.

I still have to talk to the eventual "A" participant, but the "C" participant (Team America) seemed to like this idea:
Game starts 8 on 8. If "A" goes up by more than two scores, they lose a player (becomes 7 on 8). If "A" goes up by more than 4 scores they lose another player (becomes 6 on 8). If the score margin drops, "A" gets those players back. There is no player handicap if "C" is ahead.
This way, "C" still has the opportunity to play the "A" team with no handicap - but there are measures in place to ensure the game remains competitive if "A" starts to pull away, and if "C" remains competitive enough the handicap measures won`t come into play.

IMPUT to Tom

i have seen leages that when a team goes up by 3 scores like A when C gets the ball(after the TD) and if they score they get the ball back..NO kicking off..if they do not score the second time, the A team gets 8 downs to score, thats it... with a running clock it gives the C team a real chance...that way its not weird to take away players just gives the C team more chances to score and A team less which would make more since with a running clock

to think about
Dont sleep on TA,
TA you better be able to defend the option and long ball. When you think you have the post route covered, you really dont.
The difference between Open and C, the Open QBs really know how to read a defense and will exploit a weakness until you fill the hole. Sounds simple, until game time

TA`s lucky

too bad that DM is from Richmond and won`t make the drive just so they can destroy T&A. Yotes 28 T&A 0.

Yotes Coach Coyotes coach |
|

I already notified Tom but I have to apologize to TA and the rest of the league - unfortunately the Coyotes won`t be able to play in the game next Sunday due to injuries. We keep a small roster to begin with and in the last two weekends we`ve lost five people, some with serious injuries. A few more will be out of town and we just can`t get a team out there.
Sorry about that fellas - it`s great that Tom made this happen and I wish we could play. Hopefully one of the other top Open teams can make it; should be a great event and good luck to both squads.
